Just right off the bat: $17 a pound for a blend? Thanks but no thanks. This coffee smells great in the bag. I just wish that smell translated into the taste. The flavor, because it's blended, is not memorable or distinct. Quality is great. Taste, good though just doesn't stand out.

I bought several types and brands of coffee for my new espresso maker. This is my favorite. I can drink it black. I freeze some into ice cubes so I can have it hot or iced without watering it down. Delicious.

I’m a coffee connoisseur and bought this because I’m always looking for new brands and flavors to try, especially with organic coffee. I decided to give this a try and made it for my out of town guests that came to stay for a few days. They were impressed. They asked what brand it was and if I had an espresso machine (which I do) and if I made it myself because it tasted just like espresso they’ve had at coffee shops. One of the finest espressos out there! And I have tried all the good ones. If you’re after rich crema (tip - use a moka pot), you’ll be delighted by this one. It has a strong taste - don’t take it lightly because it says ‘medium roast’. Overall, pleased.

I drink this every morning. It is the best espresso I have found (even better than Illy, my number two). I really like that it's fair trade as well, makes me feel better about my purchasing. The traceability is a really cool feature as well.
