Easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together. Single person operation, taking my time due to some physical limitations, just over two hours. Make sure to use power Philips head screwdriver, hand held flat screwdriver. Directions are pretty clear if you pay attention to holes. My suggestion would be to hold off attaching piece #13 (the short, thick upper piece that stays stationary) until you have the exact length you desire in the exact spot you will be placing it. Otherwise, it is very awkward to move and can easily break off from attachment. Did not give five stars based on when you push in a drawer it can easily move that section past the flush marks of the base. Will need to readjust every time it happens. Quality good for cost. Sturdy. Plenty of options for your desired length and if you want to have wall mounted TV centered or off centered for room aesthetics. You can change which direction has the opening (you pick right side or left- my picture shows right). You could place a TV with foot stand/mount on the shorter long piece with no issues if you want it that low. I’m happy with purchase. Now to install acoustic panels on wall and finish decorating. Eventually the wires will be hidden in the wall. Note the drawers do not have any holes to pull wires if you put electronics in them (they would need circulating air anyway- so not best option). ... show more

When we installed our TV we attached it too low to the wall. This unit is the absolute best TV unit i ever had with the storage and low profile of it. I wish it came in more colors but other then that it took 2 of us to build and approximately 4 hours. The extending part is my favorite!

This TV stand is practical in the sense that because it extends it can fill up spaces for a clean look. The color is very beautiful, I would describe it is a light walnut and the finish is good. What did happen is that unfortunately we did have two pieces come damaged and contacted the customer services email included in the assembly instructions and they were very prompt to both communicate and provide replacements to resolve the issue, so with this level of customer service I can tell others to buy with confidence. ... show more
