The printer ID source in this ad said this would fit my HP Envy Photo 7858. The good news is, IT DID! The bad news is, either there was never any ink in the set or what little (probably) was put in there had dried up, because I cannot get more than a ghostly stripey image on even a short paragraph, let alone an image. I cannot use them at all. My problem is that I didn't notice the problem until it was past time to return this useless printer ink set. Learned my lesson---- perhaps you can save your time and money by scrolling on by this product.

The color reproduction is excellent. I do not, however, print much color and was puzzled when the printer showed that the color cartridge was empty after only two months. This makes me wonder if these cartridges, which are marked XL are really XL or if they are filled with a lesser quantity of ink. I purchased another set and have already installed the color one. If it runs out after only a short time, I will know that this brand cannot be trusted to be what they say they are. Time will tell.

We have enjoyed using your product for many years, however, recently there has been a problem. Twice recently the color ink cartridge has caused an error message to appear on the printer. The cartridge installs just fine, but after using it awhile, the printer sends a message saying the cartridge is not communicating with the printer. The ink is not empty. We tried reinstalling the cartridge and cleaning it, but nothing works. You sent a replacement, but it is inconvenient not to have the printer working for a time.

Update: The company did reach out to me after the initial review and offered different solutions to resolve the dried-out ink. In the end, they sent me a replacement and while I haven't been able to use it- I appreciate the fact that they reached out and tried their best to resolve the issue. The tricolor installed well and worked great. However, the black one was dried out and doesn't print well in my printer.

Because of the price advantage over original HP cartridges, I have purchased a pair of these ESTON black and color 64XL cartridges 4 times. My results have ranged from great to lousy. The first pair were great, no difference. The second pair, my HP Envy 7855 said one of the cartridges wasn't genuine and stopped reporting supply levels, though they still printed, and the color one failed after about 250 pages. Third pair, both stopped reporting supply levels, and both failed early, one after only about 50 pages. Fourth pair, the color one appears to the printer to be genuine and it reads the supply levels, but not the black one. Just installed them so no idea if I'll get the full output from them. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised by all of this, because my impression when opening these cartridges is that there's also a LOT of variability here. Cartridges can look slightly different, labels are noticeably different and placed differently (and askew sometimes), etc. BOTTOM LINE: Too much unpredictability for me, and it's not worth my time to deal with the hassle of returns, especially when these things can fail unexpectedly. On a per sheet basis, I may have come out slightly ahead (though it's probably close) versus buying original HP cartridges, but at this point I'm going to switch back because this is too much trouble to deal with. I should note I have diligently cleaned the print heads and restarted the machine many times to attempt to avoid or ameliorate the issues I cited, so I don't think my lack of results are due to that. Print quality is fairly good, I should add, but there's a lot of unpredictability here. These *may* be worth it if expected cost is your sole consideration, but be prepared for frequent surprises.
