The description of this product states it's Fast Dry that's definitely true statement. I have used Essie products for years the top coat product out performs other similar products I have used. Within five minutes of application, whether it's complete mani or just touch up, my nails are completely dry and smudge proof. Another extra benefit when applying top coat is it covers any nail polish imperfections, which lengthen time period of having to redo a total manicure. The product is easy to apply but I didn’t see any difference or growth in my nails despite putting it on for 3 days or even a week. On the other hand the product is great for beginners and looks great just as a clear polish(with a pink tone) <33

The essie top coat does what it is suppose to do. My nails look amazing with the matte top coat but there are a few issues. For one, my nail polish chip so easily when I use the product. I usually use an essie or opi nail polish and then apply an opi top coat and my nails last a little over a week (sometimes up to two weeks without chipping). When I add the essie matte top coat, my nails chip under a week which is a bit frustrating for me. I've even tried applying the opi top coat and then the essie matte top coat and it still chips in under a week. Another issue is the matte top coat needs to be applied at least twice a week. After a few days, the nail polish starts to look glossy so the top coat it only effective for 2-3 days before it needs to be reapplied. I do like how my nails look but I'm trying to find another matte top coat that last longer than this one and prevents chipping. ... show more
