First learned about Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil this Summer when my manicurist in Dubai used it for a manicure/pedicure. She raved about the oil, and sent me home with a sample. Six months later, this wonderful oil has been a daily part of my skin care routine, for both my hands and feet. The oil has a nice, light Apricot fragrance, absorbs quickly (not greasy), and is extremely moisturizing. Something my manicurist also shared with me is that this oil is quite effective for toenail fungus. To increase the effect, it can also be mixed with a few drops of Tea Tree Oil (50/50 solution). Brush the oil on the tops of the nail, and massage into the surrounding skin, twice daily. Great product, and Amazon has the best price!

The description of this product states it's Fast Dry that's definitely true statement. I have used Essie products for years the top coat product out performs other similar products I have used. Within five minutes of application, whether it's complete mani or just touch up, my nails are completely dry and smudge proof. Another extra benefit when applying top coat is it covers any nail polish imperfections, which lengthen time period of having to redo a total manicure. This is an amazing product that I can honestly say is worth the investment and accurately performs beyond any expectations!

After Covid I started doing my own nails and had been doing dip powder. I stopped to let my nails grow naturally and get stronger and matte was my favorite look but couldn't find any non gel matte top coats. This is exactly what I've been wanting! Dries fast and has a perfect matte look on non gel polish. Love it!

The product is easy to apply but I didn’t see any difference or growth in my nails despite putting it on for 3 days or even a week. On the other hand the product is great for beginners and looks great just as a clear polish(with a pink tone) <33

The essie top coat does what it is suppose to do. My nails look amazing with the matte top coat but there are a few issues. For one, my nail polish chip so easily when I use the product. I usually use an essie or opi nail polish and then apply an opi top coat and my nails last a little over a week (sometimes up to two weeks without chipping). When I add the essie matte top coat, my nails chip under a week which is a bit frustrating for me. I've even tried applying the opi top coat and then the essie matte top coat and it still chips in under a week. Another issue is the matte top coat needs to be applied at least twice a week. After a few days, the nail polish starts to look glossy so the top coat it only effective for 2-3 days before it needs to be reapplied. I do like how my nails look but I'm trying to find another matte top coat that last longer than this one and prevents chipping.
