I was pleasantly surprised by this 40-piece essential oil set. I just purchased a diffuser, so this is a good way to try out the different essential oils. Of the 40 different essential oils, I liked A LOT about 20 of them, 10 didn't have much smell, and 10 I couldn't stand. Here's the deal: for $28, I consider that a great value. The essential oils appear to be legit, as they're labeled "thereauputic (sp) grade, they are in dark bottles, and the scientific names are included but the type on the bottle was so small that I couldn't read it. I probably won't order again from this manufacturer as they are sourced out of China, which makes me nervous, but I ordered these to get a sense of what I like, so once I determine that, I'll order from well-known suppliers in the US. As an FYI, from what I can tell, essential oils aren't regulated by the FDA (neither are vitamins and that scares me), so it's hard to really know whether these are 100 percent essential oil or not. But they appeared to be legit, with the exception of the China sourcing. Overall, a great value and a good way to start getting a feel of which essential oils I like.

This was a hard decision, but decided to go with this set for a few reasons, not sorry I did. The scents are very good. Tea tree scent leaked (but to be honest this is the second set I’ve bought and both times tea tree is the only one that leaked). Not worried about that, didn’t lose much. Very pleased with the floral scents and all scents really, recommend this one

Great essential oil set. Contains basics and many other oils giving a great variety. These are smaller bottles than I’m used to but that’s my fault for not taking note of them in the description. I am currently diffusing a blend of them now for the first time and they are all quality oils at least for diffusing.

When I comparing these oils to another company’s, I found that these oils are not very strong when it comes to the aroma. If you want something more settled and easy to handle, get this pack, but if you like a strong and genuine smell like me, don’t buy it. On the other hand, they all smell wonderful and accurate and it’s a very good selection of oils for anyone.

First and foremost, it’s not bad for the price. If you’re looking for a wide variety of scents for cheap, then this is for you. If you’re serious about your essential oils, and plan to use these for more than simple fragrance, I’d avoid. These oils smell pretty weak, even when compared to other cheap aromatherapy graded oils like Mainstays from Walmart, and are blown out of the park by other brands marketed as organic or therapudic grade (Aromè, Plant Therapy, etc) . They never seem to last as long, or waft as far as the other oils in my diffuser either. I will give them props for the wide variety of oils, it’s a great sampler pack for someone who just wants to try a bit of everything. Personally I plan on using this pack to sample out which oils I like before moving on to purchasing higher quality products. Other than the strength, as far as I can tell some of the oils seem pretty true to their natural scent and smell nice overall. With how low the price is, I’d be concerned about the quality. I wouldn’t trust to use these on my skin or ingesting them. Overall: Great variety, but weak strength and questionable quality.

i recently got into candle making, and bought a bunch of scents, but this set has been my favorite. they're really potent, mix well with soy wax, and i love all the scents, either on their own or to mix with common fruit and flower scents to get something a little headier and mature. out of all 40 scents, the only one i didn't like was basil (i don't like the idea of candles smelling like pasta, i guess). one of these little bottles is good for about a 4 to 8 ounce candle.
