I bought this because I have very bad anxiety. The first one was too small so I loved this large tank. When it arrived I had multiple problems. I couldn't see the mist like I could with the previous one. It smelled different than the previous one also. The manual says to add 5-6 drops of essential oils but Google said a tank this large needs 15-20 drops. The first night I had it on all night then I turned it off before I left. When I got back I went to fill it up again only to notice it was still over half full. Based on what it says the run time was it should've been near empty. I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement. I just opened it and the cover doesn't say the brand like the previous one. Ok no big deal. The user manual looks completely different. Ok also weird but no big deal. It has a completely different AC adapter with a different cord & different housing at the plug. I tried it on the first to see if that was the initial problem but it did the same thing. I transferred the distilled I had in the original to the new one and it's running the same way the previous one did. So I don't know how to feel about it overall. I don't think I would purchase it again had I known this so maybe I should've read more reviews. ... show more

Don't let the size fool you! For the small footprint of this unit, it holds a lot of water and hums very softly all night and into the morning even in my very arid climate. The packaging was wonderful: kept everything in perfect condition without a lot of excess to recycle. The remote is a handy tool though I rarely use it. I appreciate the multiple settings for timing, the strength of the mist, and the multiple options for light that seemed appealing (for me even the dimmest light setting is too bright). In a child's room (or for an adult who appreciates a nightlight), the light feature, relatively compact size, and long operating time would be fabulous. The media could not be loaded. I bought a bigger version from another company but unfortunately it stopped working. I wanted to go with a smaller version only because I don't have much space on my table as I use it for my printer also. This diffuser was the perfect size and the remote control is helpful because I can control it from the comfort of my bed. It's very simple to use and set up. Sleeping much better with this and some lavender essential oils. They light is pleasant with many options. Is takes awhile to toggle through the many options before reaching off, but the timers are well thought out with very reasonable and helpful ranges. My husband does not like the noise, I find it very minimal and a bit like a very quiet white noise. Overall, I would buy this again and recommend to others. ... show more
