LOVE this mascara! I have short lashes and I wasn't sure if the reviews (even with pictures) we for real or not. Well let me tell you - they are real. My boyfriend noticed it right away (of course he was not sure what I did differently) he said I looked really pretty even tho he has told me I don't need make-up. I only had mascara on when he saw me - which also in general is usually the case. Suffice this to say - I also noticed my lashes looked longer and thicker. I’ve tried mascaras that cost six times as much, and guess what? I still reach for this one. If you’re looking for length, thickness, and a formula that won’t clump as long as you don’t overload your wand, this is it. Apply in a couple of thin layers for the best results, and you’ll get lashes that look like you paid way more than five bucks. It holds up beautifully throughout the day—no flaking, no smudging, just great lashes from morning to night. Honestly, at this price, I half expected a crunchy formula or raccoon eyes by noon, but nope. It delivers. Moral of the story: You don’t need to spend $30 on a mascara when this little gem exists. I will always have it in my makeup bag, and if you’re on the fence—just buy it. You’ll thank me later.

Based on a copious amount of research and the many reviews of this mascara, I had high hopes that it would be the holy grail for me - someone who has yet to find one that doesn’t leave me with raccoon eyes - a problem I can’t seem to escape from no matter what I try. Not sure if it’s due to the fact that I have very straight lashes and/or the way my eyes are set, but every waterproof, smudge proof product I’ve tried has failed me. Given the price point on this and the fact that many reviewers said the waterproof version was hard to remove, I decided to first try the standard voluminous and lengthening version since it is listed as smudge proof. I got the black/brown which was perfect for my hazel eyes. I was 100% amazed at how my lashes looked after applying it — have never, ever seen them look so fabulously long, lush and full in all my years of wearing makeup and I’m in my sixties. All I can say is WOW! I was able to go for about 6-8 hours with no smudging but after that it was all over. At the end of the day I took a look in the mirror and saw a raccoon (or maybe panda) looking back at me. Ugh I was so disappointed! I use a light, translucent setting powder on my under eyes to help prevent concealer creases (a challenge for older women) and mascara from smudging but even so had no luck. Now I’ll try the waterproof version and see how that goes. I took one star off for the smudging problem but would otherwise give this product five stars.

If there were more than 5 stars I would use them all! This mascara is magic! Without makeup my lashes are hard to see, and since I’ve been on meds for a chronic condition, they seem to ‘let loose’ occasionally. Princess lash helps with fullness and enhances any length that is there. I have tried the water proof , I prefer the other as far as application and feel of the product on my lashes. And did I mention the price is unbelievable? You have nothing to lose, try this and I think you’ll be sold.!!

Love this product! I agree with others that the tube design is very fun. I was looking for something that goes on smoothly but shows up quickly. This does the trick! I only need to apply it one time and it doesn't leave any clumps. It's easy to apply without any mess, and it's an easy way to look presentable for Teams video calls with coworkers. It removes easily with Clinique makeup remover solvent, doesn't bother my sensitive eyes, and is very inexpensive!

I don't ever write reviews, but this product is THAT good, i have to put yall on. I've never had a mascara that truly gave me the look I was going for, so I used to use two mascaras- one to separate my eyelashes, and another one to add volume. This one does both, and makes me feel like everyday is a good makeup day, and it only takes like less than 2 minutes for me to do my makeup, since I don't wear anything other than mascara. It goes on so smoothly, and I rarely have to fix it up much after applying. It stays on for a decent amount of time too. I definitely recommend this!

For $5, it really isn’t a bad mascara. The picture where only one eye is done (my non lazy guy) is first thing in the morning without going outside into any humidity. Granted, it’s pretty humid, but as you can see in the end of the day picture, there are some smudges and a bit of flakiness. I don’t know that I’ll buy it again once it runs out because I don’t like worrying about the smudging, but again, for $5 it does a great job.

This is one of the BEST mascaras I have ever used! The price point truly belies its quality. It lasts all day and doesn’t smudge and paired with the Essence lash thickener actually makes me look like I DO have eyelashes!! You’ll need a good eye makeup remover to get it off because it really has staying power. You can spend more money on mascara, but why?…….
