I received the essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara in the brown shade, and I’ve been really impressed—especially for the price point. First, the color is what makes this stand out. The brown (black-brown) shade gives a much softer, more natural look than traditional black mascara, which is perfect for everyday wear. It still defines and enhances lashes, but without looking too harsh. It’s especially flattering in natural light. The brush is a conical fiber wand, which helps coat each lash evenly while adding noticeable length and volume. I found it easy to build—one coat gives a natural look, and two coats create more of that “false lash” effect the name promises. (essence makeup) Formula-wise, it goes on smoothly and doesn’t feel heavy. I didn’t experience much flaking throughout the day, though like most volumizing mascaras, you do need to be a little careful to avoid clumping if you apply multiple coats quickly. Once it dries, it holds well and keeps lashes lifted. I also really appreciate that it’s vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, which is a big plus for a drugstore mascara. Overall, this is a fantastic everyday mascara if you want length and volume with a softer, more natural finish. It performs well above its price range and is a great option if black mascara feels too intense.

Absolutely hands down the best mascara. I naturally have little to no lashes, and this mascara makes a huge difference. It keeps my lashes dark, full, and adds noticeable length without clumping. I've been searching for a reliably good, dramatically volumizing mascara every since my absolute go-to for like 20 years, L'oreal Voluminous w/curved brush, suddenly changed to a "new formula" and became awful. This Lash Princess False Lash Effect is surprisingly good, not to mention stunningly inexpensive. It's buildable and coats well without much clumping. I usually apply a few coats and maybe comb out a little bit with an eyelash comb, but only in a spot or two. Stays on all day. Doesn't smear or flake. Removes easily with a micellar makeup remover wipe. No complaints.

Great product. I don’t like to spend more than a few minutes on my makeup but this product makes it look like I really put in the effort! I’ve even been asked if I had my lashes done at the salon. The mascara doesn’t clump or dry out in the tube and it makes your lashes look a lot longer. Brush works well and doesn’t clump up either. One application looks long and natural, two gives a more dramatic effect. I’m a repeat purchaser of this item!

Boy, did I get lucky when I bought this set of three. The price is amazing. I’m 69 years old. I’ve been wearing mascara since I was probably 14 or 15. I’ve used several different kinds. This one by far I think is my favorite slides on easily, stays on through the day. Super easy to wash off with make up remover if it doesn’t come right off I use a little bit of coconut oil. Never feels heavy. Doesn’t clump. It just glides on so easy I couldn’t be happier. I am forever hooked on this mascara. Seriously ladies this one’s a game changer. I’m just hoping with all the good reviews. The price won’t go up. I did not get the waterproof. And I won’t I like the one I have the (green print.) Also, this mascara has lasted me quite a while. I’m still on the first one. Has not dried out at all. I can’t say enough good things about this mascara.

I’ve been using the Essence Lash Princess mascara for months now, and it’s honestly one of my favorite Amazon finds. It works really well. it dramatically elongates my lashes. The formula builds nicely for length while keeping things separated and defined (no major clumping if you apply carefully). It is a great value as a 3-pack for about $15 total, which makes each tube super affordable and means I always have a backup on hand. The only minor downside I’ve noticed is that it tends to dry out a bit more quickly than some higher-end mascaras I’ve tried. After a couple of weeks of regular use, it can start feeling a little drier or clumpier toward the end of the tube. But honestly, for the price and performance, it’s a total steal – I just replace it when needed without any regrets. If you’re looking for length, drama, and everyday wear without breaking the bank, Lash Princess is a winner. Highly recommend!

Good first, then one complaint. I LOVE the hue of this brown mascara. It's a true brown that's dark enough for contrast but not so dark it's basically black. It lengthens and builds well. The spool brush is strangely long but I think it makes it easier to manipulate sometimes, so unexpected but good. HOWEVER, if you sweat, cry, or honestly wear for more than 4 hours it is going to smudge. If you are ok checking in and touching up throughout your day, I highly recommend you try it, but if you are going for full day wear, no second thought, you may run into some issues here.
