What an amazing craft idea. I ordered this product for a date night with my partner and we had so much fun having our own "paint and sip" moment at home. The paintings that we made are still on display on the cute easels that are provided. It's the perfect size for in home activities and great for artists at any level... which I am a beginner. The items couldn't be packaged more easy and cleanup was a breeze. The color choices to use were also perfect. If you're looking for an affordable date night, look no further!

I'll just say up front that this was more about the experience than it was about the art or art supplies, so if you are looking for the artist's package, this is probably not it. If you are looking for something to do for a date night, or a painting activity with your kids, then this would be perfect - not difficult to deal with, and reusable at least once. I bought this so my husband and I could do the "paint your partner" challenge. Boy is that a fun activity: I laughed harder than I have for a long time. It didn't take us long to set things up and get going. I'm sure there are paint sets of better quality or with more colors, but I got what I wanted for what I think is a decent price - at least, this is not much more expensive than going to the movies and getting snacks. The easels are made of light wood, so they do collapse if you bump them, but they stand up while you're painting, so they are adequate. There are 2 sizes of canvas, a pack of different sized brushes, a pack of tubes of paint, and a pallet for mixing colors, for each person. The different brush sizes let you get specific with your strokes or keep it general, whatever floats your boat. The paint color selection is good, and the quality seemed fine, as it blended the way I wanted it to, and it covered what I wanted it to cover. Note: the paint is acrylic, which, when dry, is not water-soluble. It is therefore best to use plastic (taller than Dixie) cups for soaking your brushes. We put wax paper down on our table, just to be on the safe side. The box states that a gift box is included - and that means the product box is their idea of a giftable box. No. Just no. The box is incredibly flimsy, and it has product information all over it - not what I'd use for a gift at all. The product itself is definitely giftable, but not in the stated context, for sure. Beginners can definitely figure out how to paint in general, but color combining is a challenge to the novice. The notes on the box for mixing for specific colors are way off - my husband followed those rather than instinct, and he was annoyed: following directions, which is not his strong suit, took him down the wrong road. I, on the other hand, ended up using way too much of one color to get the right tones, where a little bit more realistic guidance on color would have helped both of us. How did our paintings turn out? I made him look like an Egyptian mummy, and he made me look like Mrs. Hulk. Would I buy it again to do it with others? Absolutely!

As a professional artist I really wouldn't recommend the easel, as it's flimsy and can only hold very tiny canvases, but the small table easel with storage is nice and nicely constructed, and I purchased this set mainly to get ahold of a nice little set of the other supplies at a bargain price and they're more than worth it...😋
