I am using this case with a 2018 iPad Pro. It's a good quality case that does has does certain things well and could be better in other areas. Whether this case is for you depends on how you use it. If you primarily use it flat by opening the case and folding it back on itself, this is great. But if you want to use it standing up, you will get mixed results. Pros: - magnets are strong enough to attach to the case with no problems - flap gives an extra layer to hold the case closed (even without flap, it stays closed just fine) - I don't have an apple pencil, but it would fit well there (I tried with a regular pencil) with the flap keeping it in place - sleep/wake feature works well with cover Cons - I find myself opening the back/detaching the case from the ipad instead of the front of the case because I want to pull on the flap to open the case - there stand is not very stable on the low setting. I'd say it stays up 75% of the time and falls down the other times. It also doesn't stay in place very securely. - the tall setting is worse - I suspect it's not meant to stand the ipad up in the taller angle as I couldn't get it to stay

I wanted a slim, minimalist folio for my new iPad Pro that would protect and hold my Apple Pencil 2nd Gen in place. This is the perfect folio. The flap covers the entire pencil while it's magnetized to the iPad. I prefer a slight angle while I draw on my iPad (rather than flat on a table) and this provides me with the perfect easel-style angle. The upright angle is also comfortable for viewing purposes. . It's super light-weight and slim. I got the blue, which is more navy than the photos show. It doesn't show fingerprints. My only complaint is that it doesn't come in more fun colors, like teal or purple.

As soon as I opened the back you could smell this horrible smell. I tried to air it out but it still smells that way. The case looks like it would be good but I'm not putting in on my iPad. Returning and hoping the next one doesn't smell like that.

I absolutely love this case. It is very durable and lightweight. I feel like it has good protection for the most part (I place it in a larger carrying case when traveling with my iPad) I'm not sure about the corners if it were to fall, as they are exposed. The flap for the Apple Pencil is perfect, the case that I have on my pencil causes it to fall off easily, and this helps to ensure that the pencil stays with the iPad. When propping the case stand it stays perfectly and will not fall unless obviously pushed hard enough. I have had other cases similar with an older model of the Pro and it was constantly falling when propped. This case stays perfectly! I love the color, it's not too "pink" but a perfect light rose gold. Very sleek design!

This case is amazing, the magnets are super strong and the iPad won’t come off easily. The flap protects the Apple Pencil perfectly and it is a great design. It is very thin, but it is still enjoyable to be protected. The corners are obviously unprotected, but that’s not why I bought this case, so it’s ok. It does leave fingerprints, and the fuzzy part of the inside of the case picks up fuzz and dust, but I just use a lint roller to get it off and it works great. I definitely recommend this case.

So I bought this because sometimes I don't want to lug around the heavy Magic Keyboard folio. However, I do have the PITAKA Magnetic Case installed on my iPad Pro 11". I figured if the case would work with the Magic Keyboard that it should work as well with the ESR Foilo. Sure enough, works PERFECTLY with the PITAKA case installed on the iPad. This allows me to just grab my iPad and put it in the ESR case or into the Magic Keyboard case while all along having the protection of the PITAKA case. Absolutely love the versatility that this allows me to have. As far as the ESR product, it feels well built but feels like its made of the same material as the Magic Keyboard. So I'm assuming this thing is going to get D I R T Y!! Maybe there is a skin out there for it like the Magic Keyboard?? The apple pencil strap is amazing and holds very well. This works great as making it a 100% portable solution and keeping that dang pencil safe. On my Magic Keyboard I use a pencil holder, so now that can just stay on that case. Magnetic hold seems very strong, although the PITAKA case also has magnets in it as well so it might strengthen the hold some. I have no desire to take the case off to try it without. So far super happy with it. 100% address my usage of being with a keyboard or not while also keeping a case on the actual device. Great product

I primarily bought this case to eliminate the raised edges that the traditional cases have. The raised edges got in the way whenever I drew. This case did exactly that while providing scratch protection, and it looks really nice too. The magnetic power is quite powerful, the case has not moved/budged since I've had this. It also has a flap to keep the Apple Pencil nice and secure. The inside is a nice smooth suede (fake) so I don't have to worry about scratching my ipad. One thing with this case is that it does not provide ANY fall protection, and I think that is to be expected with magnetic cases like this, so to expect that is quite foolish. Not sure on durability, but I can foresee the unfinished edges cracking in the future, but until then, very happy with this case.

I actually was hesitant on this type of case, but as soon as I unboxed and placed my iPd pro 11” 2020 in it felt really great. The cover feels really smooth and premium. I like how the sides are slightly raised so that if you accidentally drop it it will provide some protection (but don’t do it on purpose). I got the grey color and it looks and matches really well with my silver ipad. I believe this is a better buy than even apple’s expensive version. I’ve bought Esr cases for all my ipads and they have never failed and customer service has always been awesome!
