I've had this iPad cover for a few weeks now. I am very impressed with the features and performance. It's a little more expensive than the average iPad case but I think it's totally worth every penny. 1. Very strong magnets to keep the kick stand in place. 2. Two different kick stand sizes and several kick stand grooves makes it so you can set the iPad up pretty much at any angle. 3. Slim case design, very sleek and not bulky at all. Easy to travel with and pack. 4. The entire iPad part easily separates from the cover itself with magnets. 5. Stretchy but snug pocket for the Apple pen. 6. The power and volume buttons are easy to find by feel. The one piece of criticism I have is that the Apple pen holder is located on the back of the iPad case where the pen doesn't get charged. You have to take it out and charge it separately. Not handy for an artist who needs to sketch really quickly. Small nit picky point to an otherwise *perfect* iPad case in my opinion. I got the brown color. I thought it would be a little more bronze looking but it's straight up brown. It kind of looks like leather but truly just brown plastic. I still love it!

I have used many ESR cases with my iPads in the past and have loved all of them. The quality and function have always been excellent and always at a very good price. This one takes it to the next level in terms of functionality! Yes, it adds a little bulk to the thin and light iPad Pro, but for what it provides it is a worthy trade off in my opinion. I do not like a table case that requires snapping the tablet into the case the therefore making it much more of a hassle to get the table back out when you don't want the added bulk and covers of the case flapping around when you just want to hold it in your hands and use it...like a tablet. This cases addresses that by having the magnetic frame/case that the iPad goes into, but can just stay in all the time and then that is what magnetically attaches to the rest of this case, so I can have all the function of this case when I need it or just my iPad all on its own at any time, without any hassle. All the available viewing angles for watching content or even putting it down low for writing, drawing, or typing are excellent and they are sturdy. The cherry on top for me is the pencil holder! With other cases in the past, I often buy the self adhesive pencil holders from ESR that can attach to any case so that I have somewhere to safely store the pencil when not in use or just leave it on the iPad, draining the battery. This case having one built in a great extra feature. The only thing better than the case itself, is the price. I cringe to think what this would cost if Apple sold it with their logo on it. The value here for the price is incredible and worth every penny. I have recommended it to everyone getting the new M4 iPad Pro.

Very nice case that is similar to a much more expensive version of the case. It is a stand case that can be used in both the portrait and landscape mode with many angles for each. It attaches with magnets to the case and to the different slots for the stand positions and the lower writing position. So it is quite stable in any of the positions.the case is much more attractive than the pictures. All the slots are in the correct positions and sleep/wake feature works perfectly. The case closes securely. It has 2 places for the Apple Pencil: one where it can be charged, but is not secure and a second non-charging slide in fabric slot when not using the Pencil. The negatives for me was that I found it annoying to pull off the iPad from the magnets to change the height or orientation of the case. The other negative was that the case was a little unstable in the portrait position. Overall it is a very nice case.

As a power user of my iPad Pro 11-inch (2018), I always look for the best case that will not only protect the iPad but allow me to use it comfortably. My primary use case for my iPad is to take notes, typed and handwritten, and for media consumption second. ESR’S case allows me to do both very comfortably and offers so many options to use the iPad mini without the worry of getting it damaged (especially scratching it). The following are the pros and cons of this case: Pros: - Multi-angle viewing of content thanks to the cover (landscape only, but it’s nice to have the angles appropriate for viewing content as well as angles low enough for when you need enough incline to write comfortably) - The iPad can lays perfectly even when on a flat surface, especially when hand-writing notes - Case is slim and lightweight but offers good quality protection - Magnets galore and they’re all really strong - Nice to have the option of a raised landscape view as well as a portrait view - Nice that it has a pocket on the back of the folio case to keep the Apple Pencil safe when it is not in use (especially when on-the-go, putting it into a bag, carrying around, etc.) - Overall quality is great! Even as protective as this case folio is, it is very lightweight! Con: - Only one, if anything, is the Apple Pencil’s pocket being stretched over time, but that is a given (much like other similar materials). Not at all a deal breaker. Overall, this case is absolutely amazing! I have been a longtime user and fan of ESR products; they are always up to par and never fail. 5 stars in functionality and protection, two very important factors when considering cases and products to complement our electronic devices.

BEST IPAD CASE. As a graphic artist, it's just super versatile. The stability of the case is amazing with the magnets that hold strong. There are many notches that hold the ipad in place at any viewing angle. There are two places to stick my apple pencil— on top of the case and the gartered pocket on the outside which has not stretched. And i really enjoy how it can hold the ipad in an elevated step too which makes for less strain on my neck looking down when the ipad is resting on a table. The materials are top notch in that there are no cracking or peeling (i have owned this case for 3 years now). get this case for your ipad!
