  • Better than Magic Keyboard
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 13"
I like typing on this keyboard. It has soft keys that make the perfect light clicking sound. The only downside so far is the mousepad-it is indeed a bit louder but a non issue for me. I haven’t noticed any key/mousepad sensitivity issues so far (1st week). Holder for pencil is effective for added security and a really nice touch- can be clipped out of the way when in use and helps to hold the case closed when shut. Sure it’s a little heavy but just enough to stabilize the set up. The magnet for the interior case is strong, holds the iPad nicely and doesn’t feel too difficult to remove/replace iPad from keyboard. I like the interior case for added protection when using the iPad independently and it didn’t seem too difficult to put it on the iPad- magnet for pencil seems strong (maybe even stronger than the iPads magnet for it). I did a lot of research to find the best alternative for apples ~$300 Magic Keyboard and so far, I am confident that this is it. Look no further. ... show more

  • Apple Quality at Half the Price Apple Quality at Half the Price
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 11''/5th/4th/Pro 11"(4th/3rd/2nd...
I’m honestly impressed with this keyboard case. I expected it to be decent, but I did not expect it to feel this nice. The build quality feels solid, the fit is clean, and it gives my iPad that polished “Apple-style” setup without making my wallet clutch its pearls. Compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard, which can run around $330, this one coming in around $125 feels like a really good deal. It looks great, works well, and gives the iPad a much more laptop-like feel. My only small complaint is that the backlit keyboard does not stay lit as long as I would personally like unless you keep typing. That said, it is not a big enough issue for me to take away a star. Overall, this is absolutely a 5-star product for me. If you want a quality keyboard case without paying full Apple accessory prices, this is definitely worth getting. ... show more

  • Exceeded my expectations! Exceeded my expectations!
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 13"
I am genuinely impressed with the ESR Keyboard 360 for iPad Air 13 and it has completely transformed the way I use my iPad Air 13” M4. The build quality feels premium and sturdy, while still being much more affordable than Apple’s Magic Keyboard. The magnetic attachment is strong and secure, and I love how easy it is to detach the iPad when I want to switch from work mode to tablet mode. The keyboard itself is incredibly comfortable to type on with responsive, well-spaced keys and adjustable backlighting that makes it easy to use in low light. The trackpad is smooth, accurate, and makes multitasking feel much more like using a laptop. I also appreciate the multiple viewing angles and floating-style design, which make it perfect for typing, streaming, FaceTime calls, or even drawing. Another huge plus is the protection this case provides. Unlike many premium keyboard cases, this one actually protects the back and edges of the iPad while still looking sleek and professional. The battery life has also been excellent and lasts for weeks between charges. Overall, this keyboard case exceeded my expectations in every way. It combines productivity, protection, versatility, and value into one product. If you own an iPad Air 13” M4 and want a high-quality keyboard case without paying Apple Magic Keyboard prices, this is absolutely worth it. ... show more

  • Worth it
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 13"
I’ve had this keyboard for a little over 24 hours and already am absolutely in love. I could not justify shelling out so much for the Magic Keyboard, and after tedious time and research landed on this being the best alternative. I was worried after reading some of the negative reviews it wouldn’t give me the desired results, but so far I’m obsessed. This keyboard really gives your iPad a more laptop like feel, and while it may not be obvious at first there are keyboard shortcuts for just about everything. Google is your friend if a shortcut or option isn’t obvious i guarantee there is a way to enable and/or access it. The case feels sturdy to me and of good quality. I love how i have the ability to take my iPad off the keyboard and use it without worrying about dropping and damaging it due to the case. I need my tablet to be versatile and the fact the keyboard is magnetic and I'm able to keep a slim protective case on it allows it to be so.(which in my opinion is a one up on the Magic Keyboard) The light up keyboard allows me to type at night with ease, and the ability to change the color makes it feel more personalized. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because there are a few cons. The one that irritates me the most is due to the material any finger print or drop of moisture is going to leave a mark. I have the black case so it shows very easily, almost makes the case appear greasy which is a HUGE pet peeve. I haven’t yet attempted to wipe it down with anything, so I don’t know if these marks are here to stay or not. Another slight issue is the trackpad OCCASIONALLY lags. Lastly, as most have mentioned the weight. Although I feel for the price point and for what it does it is unpreventable, it is pretty heavy about if not more so than a MacBook Pro. All in all at this point I recommend, especially for the price, worth every penny. Can’t wait to use this with iPad OS 26. ... show more

  • Quality Case at a Much Better Value, with Much Better Protection
Color: White Size: iPad Air 11''/5th/4th/Pro 11"(4th/3rd/2nd...
[One-Year Update] I've owned this keyboard for a full year, and I'd like to impart my thoughts for anyone on the fence about it. I'm going to be placing more consideration against the Magic Keyboard, as I recently caved and purchased it from a local computer store to try it out. While I did like it, I returned it in favor of using this one for a while longer. 1) Durability & Battery This keyboard has held up well over time, minus some smudging and staining that has made me regret not purchasing the black model, on occassion. The keyboard surface is smooth and more or less unblemished, with no peeling in the silicone material around any of the buttons/trackpad. The keys are also all still intact. I cannot comment as to whether the keyboard of the first-party cases are susceptible to damage in this way, but I am pleasantly surprised as to how this one has held up. Also, the battery has not once failed me while using it. I charge it when I remember, and that is more than enough. 2) Typical Use Minus the lack of the escape key, this does everything that I need a keyboard to do while using my iPad. The layout makes sense, there is no sticking of the keys, and the print on the keys have held up even to my oily fingers. (I am a chronic hair-toucher, so this is saying something I feel.) I've modified the Trackpad on the software side for a) tap-to-click, and b) to increase the speed of the cursor. I did find after a while that I need to make a lot of repeated clicks with the trackpad, when it came to pressing it in, hence the former change. I will ding this justs lightly on part of the ESR, as I do not think it is an iPadOS issue - but, it is adequately addressed by adjusting the behavior in Settings. Not worth complaining about. 3) Value for Money Especially when considering the durability of the materials, I think this is more than worth considering for your money. The only major drawback I noticed between it and its first-party counterpart, is the inability to instantly begin typing when you "open" the iPad. The magnetic pass-through charging is also a nice touch on the other case. However, neither of those things make up the additional value that the first-party cases asks for, when this one exists. If the first party ever approaches the cost of the ESR, maybe within a range of 80 USD or more, then I would say to go for that one vs. this. In reality though, the ESR win's blow for blow vs the First Party iPad case. -- [OG Review, Shortened a Little] I am going to compare how I feel about this case to the product it is likely duping, the Magic Keyboard. I have never owned the product*, but I have owned numerous Apple products, and I got some thoughts... The ESR case is wickedly good quality. The case has a satisfying, velvety smooth finish, and the keys are responsive and nicely spaced. I usually make lots of typos with other bluetooth keyboards, but this one is designed very nicely, at least for the way that I type. The inclusion of a silicone case is a MASSIVE boon, and the main reason I chose the ESR over other cantilever cases. Since I hate leaving the edges of the iPad unprotected in my bag, no other case would satisfy my desire for protection like this one does. One con I can mention is that the weight of the iPad is greatly increased when using both parts of the case. If you were, say, also carrying a laptop or a lot of books with you, I would recommend picking between the silicone case or the keyboard, and leaving the other behind. Individually they aren't so bad -- it's when they are together that you will sweat, a little. As an artist, I also appreciate that this case is magnetically compatible with my 2025 iPad Air. The magnet array of previous cases I have used seem to not play nicely with the Apple Pencil Pro, causing jittery or chopped up lines. Some sources mention these issues to be software related, but I can attest that they immediately went away when I put my iPad into this case. I am so stoked to be able to stop looking for a case that will work for my needs. In my experience, the value is unmatched. ... show more

  • I Love This Case
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 11''/5th/4th/Pro 11"(4th/3rd/2nd...
This ESR Case is perfect for my iPad Air M4. It’s compact without feeling tight. It syncs easily, the magnets are strong enough to keep the iPad securely attached in both positions (horizontal and Vertical). I like that I can detach the iPad, and the iPad sits in its own separate case. I also like that the keyboard can illuminate in different colors. What’s not to like? It is a bet on the heavy side, but not too heavy. ... show more

  • Overall Excellent Alternative to Apple Keyboard - but too darned heavy!
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 11''/5th/4th/Pro 11"(4th/3rd/2nd...
Wonderful case. I did a lot of research before purchasing this ESR M4 case. This really gets the best reviews and it lives up to its reputation. Overall functionality is a 5, but overall ergonomics a 3. However, I had to return it because it was just too darn heavy making portability an issue. Nice feel on the keyboard - typing is a breeze. Love the multiple ways the iPad can be attached, both horizontally or vertically. And it is also protected, in its own case that can be easily removed, making it extremely versatile. It is easy to use on either a desk or on the lap. It is definitely a great and less expensive alternative to the overpriced Apple Magic Keyboard. Love the overall feel and functionality and the backlighting is very nice and I like that the overall brightness and choice of colors. I would have given it a 5 if two things were a bit better. 1. This baby is really heavy!!! This is okay but one really cannot enjoy the lightness of the new iPad unless it is not on the stand. Too, too heavy. Had to return it. 2. Setup - How about some keyboard shortcut instructions somewhere???? There should be some easier instructions that either were available online or in the box. Just a simple handout will do. It has been too time consuming to hunt and peck to find out which function keys do what. I don’t mind that I don’t have separate function keys, just give me a guide or an easier way to figure them out. ... show more

  • I would recommend. Just know what you are getting!
Color: Black Size: iPad Air 13"
Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this keyboard and case. Let's address the downside first: the keyboard and case are nearly as thick and heavy as my MacBook Pro M3. I had read similar comments in other reviews, so I was aware of this before purchasing. Another minor issue is the lack of a cutout for the Apple Pencil. This means I can't put a cover on my pencil while charging it, which is a slight inconvenience but neither are deal breakers for me. On the positive side, I truly appreciate the removable case feature. This is why I chose this keyboard case. I often use my iPad without the keyboard, and it's reassuring to know it's still protected. The keyboard itself is impressive; it connected easily on the first try and has remained consistently reliable without any connectivity problems. The mouse functions smoothly, and I am particularly impressed with the keyboard's battery life, even when using the backlight feature. The magnetic connection that holds the iPad to the keyboard is strong and secure, yet detaching the iPad is effortless when necessary. I've accidentally dropped it a couple of times, and it has proven to be quite durable. This product offers excellent value for its price. While I do wish it were thinner, I prefer this setup over an Apple keyboard because of the separate protective case for my iPad. Just keep in mind that it won't be the lightest or thinnest option available! ... show more
