People, this is the best screen protector for iPhone 16 pro max. It cover edges, it’s very clear and doesn’t make screen look faded, it’s very durable. I’m clumsy and I drop my phone all the time and this screen protector is very durable. It will take an effort to break it. Also installation process is made as easy as it can get with a frame and reinstalled screen. No air bubbles from first attempt. A lot of iPhone 16 pro max screens have rainbow effect on the edges. Like Belkin and other overpriced brands sold at Apple Store. This screen protector covers edges fully, doesn’t have rainbow effects on edges, it’s very smooth and nice to use. It’s very clear and doesn’t fade colors like some screen protectors. The other day I dropped my phone on a concrete floor and just got tiny crack on the edge. Screen itself was fine

I’m still rocking my 16ProMax and this helps keep it looking brand new. I’ve tried some of the ones that come with a case purchase and they barely last a week before something happens to them. These last months - and even then it’s usually because something get pushed into the screen. Good news is it does its job and takes the damage but my phone has always been great!! AWESOME PRODUCT!!! And with the installation tray it’s really easy to put on!!

I was a bit torn over whether or not to get this product. But after scrolling the reviews it became apparent that if it wasn’t for some purchasers having installation troubles this would be a much higher rated product. And I get it. ESR has dropped the ball when it comes to their instructions. Which are in microscopic sized letters with numerous languages stacked on top of each other. The pictures are OK but could be more specific vs basic. It seems to assume the purchaser has some experience or intuition about how to use the applicator. Which I had only seen something like this used in the Apple Store and it was a lot burlier and used by an associate. The other mistakes are that in order to watch an installation video you’ve got to intuit that the QR code on a random insert to get you to sign up for a 2 yr warranty extension is required to unlock access to the various products installation videos. And if that isn’t frustrating enough once you do find the correct video it’s for a version that is obviously a close predecessor not this exact version. The same goes for YouTube. My go to explanation/installation assistant. Even there I had to scroll & watch & scroll & watch quite a few Shorts & Videos until I finally figured it all out. Apparently they’ve constantly upgraded this product so much so fast that the Instructions/Installation/Videos etc have just not caught up. So what do I think? Well I love the darn thing now that I get it. It is by far the best screen protector I’ve ever owned and my wife feels the same way with her iPhone. Yep, if you’re not a patient person or have the time, energy or inclination to go thru the learning process I can understand skipping this for something more familiar. But for us this is kind of the top of the screen protector dog pile we’ve been struggling with since our first iPhone 4’s. We can HIGHLY RECOMMEND them.

Positives: easy to install, the dust free applicator has great alignment, clear and smooth like any other glass screen protectors. Negatives: I’m already on my 3rd screen protector within 2 months of using them. On my old iPhone 14 pro, an ESR 3 pack lasted me 2 years. These ones are super fragile near the edges, and any sort of pressure will shatter it. Turns out, the top layer of glass is actually wider than the layer below, so there is a thin lip that will shatter the entire protector if pressed. If you use a case with a small lip, this probably won’t be an issue. If you’re like me and only use a screen protector without a case, these are not the screen guards you want. Super fragile without a case to protect it. EDIT: While the above is still true and accurate, ESR has reached out to try and take care of me. They offered a refund with no ask of me changing the review, just simply wanted to fix my situation. I’ll be looking to see if they ever fix the flaw in the design, then order from ESR again!
