I have had horrible luck with those protectors with over 30,000 positive reviews. All I saw on my last iPad was bubbles and cracked corners. Installing them was beyond frustrating. I chose the ESR protector due to the installation frame. The protector also looked more substantial. I managed to install this on my iPad with NO bubbles. It also came with many tools to help with installation. I was impressed with how easy it was. My only mistake was not centering it perfectly around the home button. It’s off by very little but can be annoying. I’ve been using the protector for some time and it is just like new. No bubbles, scratches or cracks.     • Almost foolproof?

I was very leery in ordering this product as I have NEVER had any success with applying any type of screen protector on any products; never seem to line them up correctly and almost always had bubbles that I could not get rid of. The fact that the ESR screen protector came with an installation guide and was reasonably priced, I thought I didn't have much to lose, and decided I would give it a try. The instructions were straight forward and easy to follow. The screen protector went on easily with virtually no bubbles. Although I used the installation guide, I still somehow managed not to get it on perfectly. Unfortunately, the bottom corner didn't adhere well and in spite of several attempts to make it adhere by both smoothing it out and gently lifting the screen in hopes it would seal completely, I was completely unsuccessful. No worries, there are two screens included. Determined I could have better luck with the second one, I proceeded to once again, do all that was instructed. Again, I still managed managed to not get it on perfectlyl, but it adhered well, with just a few small bubbles that I was able to eventually smooth out. I waited a day until I put a case on, and once I did - I was rather pleased with the results. Unfortunately - I didn't like the case so I carefully remove my iPad and placed it into a different case and somehow the bottom right corner got lifted up and I now I cannot get it to adhere. I can't win. Although I am sure others had better results, i’ts not the result I wanted - I was so hoping I would be able to get a perfect fit with great adhesion. ... show more

This screen protector is easy to install. It did take me two tries as the first got dust on it. The second try was flawless! I did have an old card applicator from ESR that I used to get any bubbles out. That works well. Sticks on, works well with my ESR clear back case and I am sure will with a magic keyboard. After buying another brand and getting the worst bubbles (bubbles would pop up when I put the iPad case back on), I found this brand and saw a lot of reviews saying this one doesn't have the bubble issue. This protector actually comes with a frame that helps you put the screen down perfectly. I did still have some bubbles upon install, but was able to eventually push them out after a few minutes of manipulating the bubbles. I've had it for over a week now and it works great. I do a lot of drawing and note taking and I can't feel much of a difference in screen texture. Highly recommend. ... show more
