If you’re using Apple Pencil frequently, that’s the only product you should go for. it is cheaper and better than their alternatives. It comes with a guide where you can where you can put your iPad on and perfectly align the screen protector on your device. with this mechanism, it’s almost impossible to misalign the screen protector on your device. This is actually even better than the same brand’s magnetic edge screen protectors because when I was using the magnetic edge screen protectors on my other iPad, I found that my finger sometimes catches on, especially when swiping up home screen indicator because of the slightly thicker magnetic edges than the regular protector surface level. Another advantage of this product when compared to the magnetic edge version is that this one comes with a protective film on the actual screen protector that means it’s impossible to have dust on the screen protector out of the box, but when you use the magnetic edge screen protector it doesn’t come with a protective film on top of the actual screen protector so you need to also clean up the dust from the actual screen protector before applying it on your device screen. ... show more

I hope my review helps other newbie customers for this product and Apple in general. I have never owned an iPad, or an iPhone and so i got my first iPad this year and read and watched through countless videos about which screen protector would be the best for illustrators and artists.... everything seemed to point to Paperlike or whatever product was considered " industry standard"..... but the issue was that I did not have $44 to blow on it. I took the leap after reading the positive reviews on here and IM SO GLAD I GOT THIS!! The entire installation process was so easy thanks to the genius tray set up and there is not a single bubble on my iPad as a result. It feels so good to draw on it. I just care about the sensitivity, ease of drawing and how detailed the brush can lay down the colors and lines. It performs above and beyond. I have been drawing with traditional media since the 80's and this feels really wonderful to draw on. This price alone is the right price for products like this. It's not insanely expensive and just feels so balanced and customer friendly. My Apple pencil feels just the right amount of texture to draw on without grating on the surface. ... show more

What did I like: -The price -The texture, if you have a metal tip for your ipencil it truly sounds and feels like paper -the image quality is great looking through and screen glare is gone . Color stays true. -customer service is easy to get a hold of although seems to be a mismatch in communication What I don’t like: -the installation kit is terrible -The adhesive is weak. If you have to lift cause of a bubble kiss that screen goodbye and grab the 2nd one -the tools are not appropriate for smoothing as it gouges holes -customer service acknowledged my trouble but sent an iPhone replacement screen not the iPad lol BUT customer service is amazing let’s be clear about that! If your good at installing these by all means this is awesome, if you need a little skill improvement I’d look for one with a better install kit ... show more

feels horrible on your fingers when swiping for a little bit but eventually you get used to it. size is perfect. reside is left behind when cleaning but could be due to wrong cleaning product. no scratches or cracks so far.

Highly recommended... but not the best. Just great for the price. I've used the expensive brand for years. The name is... like paper ("Big Brand"). They are the best... but also the most expensive. Is it worth it? I dont know. Application: Great application system and instructions. Easy to install; great included tools. It's insane that the expensive brand doesn't include these same tools. Surface: This is where it starts to fall short. It's fine. Feels high quality. Feels like it will last. BUT, it is VERY matte and rough. The Big Brand gives the pencil a light matte surface to write against, but this is VERY rough. And that's fine. But not as good as the Big Brand. It will be fine for writing and drawing, but if I was still doing high end photo editing, I WOULD NOT USE THIS. There is noticeable display quality degradation. Longevity: I dont know yet, but it doesn't seem as firmly attached to the screen as the Big Brand was. The adhesive just doesn't seem as robust, and I feel the corners will start peeling. I DID give this FIVE STARS though, and the reason is the PRICE. The quality if good enough that I can live with it, but even if this doesn't last last long, the replacement price is MUCH better than the Big Brand. If you want a light matte surface that maintains screen display quality, spring for the Big Brand. If you want to save a bunch of bucks and want a better installation system, get this ESE brand. ... show more

I hardly ever write reviews, but thought this product warrants it. When I saw some of the other reviews I thought I must’ve clicked the wrong thing. I’ve literally just installed this on my iPad Air 13 and it’s perhaps the best experience I’ve had with all screen protectors in my lifetime. The installation tray and kit is so, so easy to use and super effective. My first try and it came out absolutely perfectly. The “paper” texture feels good and I don’t see any distortion due to the texture either. I do agree that protection wise this would probably not be nearly as strong as “hard glass” protectors, but I’ll take it. At the price and the ease of application it’s very hard yo beat this. ... show more
