This small, but mighty scale is just what I needed. It is accurate and easy to use. I have no problem with seeing the weights even using large bowls/plates. It is a gorgeous orange and so very fun to have in the kitchen. I love the easy on/off an ff rare functions too. Buy one, you will love it.

This simple scale is convenient, easy to use, wipes clean and easy to store. It measures in grams or ounces, includes simple directions and shuts off automatically. Battery included. The master chefs & I agree this scale is worth the cost.

I read tons of reviews for scales in this price range, and I chose this brand and model, which had the least serious negative reviews. Most were about the flimsy battery cover breaking, so I was extremely careful putting the battery in, and I had no problem. I use it almost every day, and I've had no problems. It's a little small sometimes, but I have a tiny counter, so that turned out better than I expected for me. I like that the button/display pad is covered by solid plastic, so liquids can't get into the electronics if you spill something. It's never failed me in the months I've had it, it's easy to use, and it's accurate-enough for recording my food intake in a diet program. Don't get me wrong: it's light plastic, and I wouldn't want to drop it, but for this price, I give it a high rating. ... show more

I love this scale. I use it every day. It scoots back and forth between grams and ounces with ease. It tares like a dream, which is great if you have to weigh something like meats - by weighing a bowl and then setting that to "0", you don't end up actually putting the raw beast on the scale (ick). And it's extremely intuitive and easy to operate. The funky, retro orange color is super-cute and looks great in my little kitchen (if that's your decor, I'd go with the 70s Pumpkin Orange over the Deer Hunter Orange option). It's small, and uses 2 common AA batteries (included!). I love being able to weigh portions instead of relying on measuring cups, and I have found some nutritional info serving sizes to be dead wrong (a serving will be "x grams or approx. x pieces", but if you weigh it, it's really far fewer pieces than suggested. Sneaky). Also, I have scone recipes from UK that list ingredients according to weight instead of volume. I'm psyched to finally be able to make the family scone recipe the correct way. i bought my first one April 2013. Early 2016, maybe even a few months before, the on/off button migrated up and I'd have to feel around for where to press. The button eventually stopped working all of the time and is have to push it many times to get it to work and it finally died in January 2017. It went on with a strange error message, wouldn't weigh anything. Then it wouldn't turn on at all unless I popped the batteries in every time which made it impossible to tare because of the way I measure out my cats 3 food bowls (why I bought it). I threw it out when I knew it was completely broken and began looking for a replacement. After two weeks I realized this was the perfect scale, it even comes in orange so why not get another? As I looked it up, I noticed it had a lifetime warranty. I am kicking myself for throwing it away. I got a new one and it works great but I'm making two changes. First, with this and any other product I'm putting a sticker on the back that says "lifetime warranty" so I don't throw it out if it breaks again! Second, even though I put a little bowl on top for the food, once in a while I do spill on the scale. It's pretty impossible to wipe where the platform connects to the base and my old one had crusty food stuck to it. Now I always lay a paper towel down under the bowl. I chose this because the brand seems like a good one for scales, I will literally buy anything in Orange, my two main prerequisites were the 4 minute auto off (very hard to find) and acuraccy to .05 of an ounce. Also did not want a lithium battery since with my old scale, I used it twice a day every single day and only had to replace the AA batteries once in two years. My dad even used it for calculating postage. I had to use his US post office scale before I bought my replacement and this scale was more accurate! ... show more
