    • Aquarium users NEED this!
If you are running a saltwater or freshwater tank this is the meter for you! Don't even bother with chemical tests anymore, trying to guess the color code and not really sure if you are 8.1 8.2 etc..... And DON'T waste your money on the Hanna PH checker that only has an accuracy of +/- 0.2 lol! The accuracy of this meter is +/- 0.05 need I say more. After calibration you just dip this in your tank, wait 30-60 seconds and there's your PH reading. I get a PH reading of 8.23 -8.31. If you want fast, accurate PH readings this is for you. The other PH reading device with a higher accuracy for aquarists is the Neptune PH probe with an accuracy of +/- 0.01 however that whole setup is quite expensive. ... show more

It doesn’t hold calibration for long and i mean working 5 minutes it’ll lose calibration. And it is not very sensitive

Don't buy a cheap ph pen that probably isn't ever gonna work/be accurate out the box. Just spend the little extra to get this one, it is well worth it. Truly feels and looks professional. Even needed some added support on my end and their customer service was very helpful with my needs.

    • Inaccurate
Very inaccurate, I calibrated it multiple times and whenever I would stick it in the solution for the calibration, it was always dead on when I would check it but then I would stick it in a cup of water and sometimes a cup of water would be 6. Sometimes it would be seven, sometimes it would be 8. We're not talking a little bit. It was way off every time I know. My water is normally 8. What's crazy? Is I stick it back in like the calibration solution and it reads real close to on the money and then I stick it back in the water. It reads something different to stick it back in the calibration. On the money again, stick it back in the water. Something totally different. I don't know what's going on. Not something I would trust.. I'm gonna spend a little more money and get a better. Well known one I would suggest you do too. ... show more

    • A Great Tool for Checking PH
No more worrying about PH strips! This PH meter does a great job at checking the acidity of water, which is important for our hydroponic garden. Before I had to use those strips that were sticky, and hard to handle. Now, I just dip, and the acidity is measured! This has made my life much easier.
