The choice of mountain bike marathon professionals: the SM Pro Men has been anatomically optimised by the Ergon development team especially for men in mountain tours, trailriding and all-mountain areas - thanks to many studies and prototypes, a generation of relieving men's saddles has been created. OrthoCell inlays in the seat area distribute the pressure optimally - the innovative material provides the highest resilience and is also more durable and lighter than gel. In addition, the relief channel in the sensitive perineum area and the sporty lightweight AirCell padding give maximum driving fun without discomfort. The flattened rear and Y shape allow optimal freedom of movement in the MTB-typical moderately inclined posture, the friction- reducing sliding edges support quick change of position.

I’ve been riding bicycles for seventy years. Over that time I have enough on marginally acceptable saddles that if saved would have allowed me to buy a bigger house. This saddle is so good that I purchased two extras to make sure that when I need a replacement I have it on hand. I’m currently using this saddle on my LightSpeed titanium frame up build, my Specialized Levo SL, Specialized Camber, and my Gary Fisher Mt Tam. Finally a saddle that is strangely comfortable and efficient. I just hope they continue to build and sell this model. If you’re looking for a saddle give one a try. After participating in a XC race, I decided to upgrade my saddle to something that can give me more comfort and mobility. This saddle actually feels great and doesn't get on the way of fast pedalling and fast movements. However, the build quality could have been better. I can see the white stitches on one side of the saddle where the blue meets the black. Unacceptable for the price I paid. The other part that I dislike is that the rails are chrome even though in a lot of pictures they show as black. I don't like how it doesn't match the saddle post and clamp. If this saddle was $50 I would be fine, but not at over $100. ... show more

It took me a few rides to get this adjusted properly, but then I took a 60 km MTB ride with 1,250 meters of elevation gain with NO pain and NO numbness! Wonderful! My only concern is that, because my sit bone measurement falls on the border between the s/m and m/l sizes, that the m/l i bought might be a bit too big for me - but no way to know without buying the smaller size, which I am not about to do. Turns out I should have shopped for new saddles earlier. This one feels amazing. That numbness from riding 2-3 days in a row after not riding a few weeks...gone. I did notice it is a bit wider so I have felt it on inner legs when going downhill (dropper down). I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it is the only negative I could call out. ... show more

I’ve ridden on stock YT saddles. They are like wood. WTB volt used to be my favorite saddle until I tried Ergon. Best saddle ever. Very comfy. Rear part is pretty wide and very supportive. This is my new favorite 🤩
