As a lady who is in her mid thirties and taken on a few DIYs before, this was pretty easy. It comes with all the tools except a screwdriver. I used a drill with a phillip (+) head tip. I was able to get it unboxed and build in about 35 minutes because you just have to orient yourself to the way it needs to be built upside down. I have an ultrawide monitor on it (34") and a macbook pro with a stand and phone stand. I really like that it came with cord clips. I am not a pro at cord organization but this was much cleaner because of that. The buttons are programmable so you can just hit a button and it goes to your standing height or sitting height.     • Had to put it together twice

When I first put it together, the opposite side of the motor went up. The side with the motor did not go up. I took it apart, and my daughter figure it out. It’s because the roof on the opposite side that already comes put together, needed to be inserted more into the leg on that side. She had to get pliers and twist and force it until it fit. We put it together afterwards, and then it worked. Word of advice, before you attach the table to the legs, make sure both legs go up and down before you put the whole thing together. Value for money I guess but the wood top could have been of better quality, very thin and feels filmsy. I dont like that its not a single piece but I guess you get what you pay for.

I am in love with this desk. I love how the settings can be customized and stored for easy adjustments. I needed a desk that was compact but able to fit all my stuff on it and that is this. The instructions are not very clear for assembling but this is not super complex to figure out how to assemble. it adjusts smoothly and doesn't stick and feels very stable and secure with no balance issues. The material is not really wood or anything fancy but seems to be good quality and sturdy. The metal is thick and doesn't not feel like it will bend easily of give out. being 5'11" I love that I can bring it up and stand and I even have more room to go higher if I needed to for someone taller than me. I do wish it had a few things like a built-in power source and a monitor elevator/ mount/ shelf but, these are not a must have feature and can be bought separately ... show more
