This desk meets all my needs and I’m blown away by the quality. I receive lots of compliments. The quiet motors quickly adjust to my pre-programmed standing height, but what I also love is how low it goes. At least 3 -4 inches lower than my stationary desk which means my feet are firmly on the floor when sitting which is rare since I’m 5’3”. It was also a breeze to put together. Just 5 pieces which were impressively packaged. It took about 15 minutes to assemble by myself. My only warning is it’s heavy. Assembly took about 10 mins and was easy to install. The white desk had finger prints all over and appeared that the manufacturer did not handle the white wood with care. After wiping it down; it’s look somewhat brand new again. I liked everything about this desk with two exceptions; the center tray is almost ineffective. You can store small items in there; but not much else. I like the controls to adjust the height in the front but having usb inputs also in the front right corner is not practical. Ideally; the usb inputs would be in the back so that your cables won’t be in your way…. The motor itself is silent and raises to a nice height for standing position. Other than the fact that you can stand at this desk, which absolutely helps if you are a person who does a lot of desk work throughout the day, I love that it has a slim design that doesn't clutter up a workspace and make it look heavy, like most desks. It does also have a drawer so you can store small items for handy access-nothing is getting lost under papers or in a desk top "catch all". There are 2 large hooks for headphones, cleaning cloth, tools (whatever you use your desk for-hobbyists will find these hooks handy for many items, no doubt). It has 4 buttons on the front for preset heights. There are also charging ports; 2 "A" and a "C". I am using this desk for jewelry making so I appreciate the fact that I can stand as I work. It's easier on my back, neck and shoulders. I have a smaller work area that doubles as a den so I can easily clear the desk and stash my current project in a cabinet, lower the desk and use it as a coffee table when needed. When my grandson visits, we use it as a regular table to play board games and build with Legos. I find this desk to be very versatile. If needed, there is definitely room for a small file cabinet or end table to store extras. I may put a small storage cabinet on wheels under it for my tools and beads. It went together easily and quickly in about 25 or 30 minutes, including opening the box and taking out the pieces. It IS very heavy and even if you can lift it by yourself, try to have a partner to help because it's a large box and it's awkward to carry. ... show more
