Description

The Equipment Lock HDCDL steel cargo door lock is an adjustable-width, keyed lock made of steel to secure both doors of a semi-trailer or storage container. It is adjustable to fit doors with vertical locking bars from 9-3/4" to 16" apart. The lock is made of two square steel tubes, one 2" and one 2-1/2", with 3/16" thick walls, that fit together. The steel is powder- coated orange for high visibility and to help resist corrosion. The lock weighs 13 lb. and has 6" tall, 3/16" thick steel plates that are perpendicular to the tubes at their ends, and flush against the cargo doors, for added support. The Equipment Lock Company manufactures crime prevention locks for the heavy equipment industry. The company, founded in 2003, is headquartered in Winchester, VA.
