So many big name trainers sell their flags for ungodly amounts of money. This is lovely because it’s retractable and AFFORDABLE! Just don’t pull on the flag itself to extend, or else you’ll pull the metal ring it’s attached to open. Love having it for roundpen work with my young mare.

Nice to shorten to fit in a pocket but a little flimsy. I don't think it is going to hold up to heavy use. The flags are good and will last quite a bit longer.

For an extending rod, it seems like it's pretty sturdy. One of the little hooks came undone with one session of using it, so I have to find a different solution to attach flags to the pole. Handy for how small it collapses to though

The handle is very flimsy, cracked after only few uses. The flags themself hold up ok, they started to fray tho. I guess what can you expect at a cheap price. Wouldn’t purchase again.
