Made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul Standard is Epiphone's stunning recreation of the rare vintage classic. Featuring a mahogany body with a maple top with a AAA figured maple veneer, comfortable 1959 hand-rolled neck profile with long neck tenon, aged finish, Gibson USA BurstBucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups, Switchcraft selector switch and output jack, CTS pots, 50s era wiring, Mallory capacitors, non-beveled pickguard, new Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners, and a vintage-style brown hard case. It also comes with an Epiphone Limited Edition metal medallion toggle switchplate. Available in Aged Dark Burst and Aged Dark Cherry Burst.

I’m a keyboard player for 60 plus years . Bought this guitar because I wanted to write music with a different aspect . Also I bought it due to the reputation of the Les Paul 54 for ease to play. It’s not quit as SWEET as a Gipson but it is built to specs of the Gibson and is real sweet for the price . A very nice guitar ! ... show more

    • Great deal, can’t beat it for the price.
Right out of the box it looks and feels great, much lighter than my Les Paul Artisan. I plugged it into my 15 watt Crate practice amp and really like the tones of all three pickup selections, The bridge is bright, the neck is full and the center setting has plenty of tone adjustment. I didn’t like the strings and they were the first to go. While they were off, I reset the neck to straight and massaged the frets to the same height and polished the frets and softened the fret ends. I plan to Top Wrap a set of .009”’s reset the neck and adjust the pickup heights. This work should really make this guitar sing. I’ve completed all of the adjustments mentioned and I’ve got to say what a difference it makes. Intonation is great all across the neck, sustain is awesome and the strings feel great. I do recommend this to any player out there. ... show more

Leaving 5 stars for the product itself and the seller for promptly refunding. This is a great guitar. Unfortunately when it arrived, it had a gouge on the front of the body. Probably playable, but for how much it is, I didn't want a damaged guitar. Sent it back and got a prompt refund from the seller.
