I especially like the ratchet. It locks/unlocks the socket/extension using the button on the back securing it to the ratchet. Fantastic--there is no way the socket or extension can come loose during operation. Great cushioned handle and nice look and feel. This ratchet alone is worth the price. Also, I like the long extension allowing you interference-free operation. The sockets are all 6-point. Finally, I like the plastic holder that keeps everything organized (no box where items rattle and move around and accidentally open and spill the contents). It has a handle, so just grab and go. I'm getting another set to keep in my vehicle--so handy (and cheap). I swapped car batteries in the store parking lot, so I wouldn't have to make a 2nd trip to get my core fee refunded. This ratchet/socket set was all I needed. Done in just 2 minutes. Perfect!

The ratchet is very smooth with very little back-drag and I do like the socket release feature on it. The sockets seem well made and have detent cuts into them for solid attachment to the rachet, a feature that is necessary which some cheaper sockets sets do not have. The rubber grip on the ratchet is nice but really not necassary on a 1/4 drive ratchet but I'll take it. As far as durability goes, I really can't say right now, only time and daily use will tell. For the home mechanic this is a solid set and I would it again.

I was putting together a tool kit for a new watercraft I bought just to have in case something happens and decided to go with this brand and I was very happy with the quality. I did add a couple of bigger sockets and extentions to it but pleased with the set.

These are surprisingly well made for the price. I'm not a mechanic and use these sparingly. They feel sturdy and not cheap. I would definitely recommend these as they feel solid and are a bargain at the price.
