I know this gets a ton of mixed reviews, but I really like this product. I use it right before I go to bed most of the time, but it's also great to use during the day. Keeps my lips moisturized through the night to prevent cracks. It has a nice buttery feel to it. Smells amazing too.

    • Surprising in a good way.
I fully admit I have a "lip balm problem", but I am also more likely to take a chance on eos products given their good track record of products with excellent scents and decent to very good staying power. But I had no idea what to expect with this product - "Vanilla Cashmere", what's that? lip butter but it's a squeezy tube? huh? - but I'm glad I did. First, the "Vanilla Cashmere" is very reminiscent of caramel corn - it's sweet with a distinct caramelly note to it, which is really nice. Second, the texture was a pleasant surprise. It starts off like any other squeezy tube - kinda sticky - but after a while it settles down into a lovely, moisturizing texture that sticks around. It also lasted all night! In the morning, I was able to wipe it away after brushing my teeth and it was almost all completely there, and my lips were extremely hydrated. I didn't notice any tingling from the "plumping" action which I appreciated. I would absolutely purchase again and I hope that some of the other "Cashmere" items get turned into lip butters - yes I'm talking about the Cocoa and the Pistachio! ... show more

I’ve been using retinol at night and applying it across my face, including my lips—which left them extremely dry. After fixing that routine, I needed something with serious hydration. I first tried the Byoma lip mask, and while it was nice, it didn’t deliver the moisture I was looking for. I even searched for my favorite Philosophy lip balm but couldn’t find it anywhere. That’s when I decided to give EOS a try since I already love their Vanilla Cashmere body wash, oil, and lotion—and wow, I’m so glad I did! This lip balm is thick, creamy, glides on beautifully, and most importantly, it really hydrates. It goes on clear with a slight shine, and the scent—while present—is very light and fades within seconds. Chronically dry lip haver in the winter, I was sick of the stick lip balms because they seemed to only feed the issues. I have tried a lot of lip balms, and this one is a pretty good one, especially at its price point. I won’t go for this when I am at my driest, but its a great one for maintaining moisturized, soft lips. Great daily balm, not overly smelly. Just wow! I’ve tried many lip treatments from Vaseline, to aquaphor to Rhode peptide lip treatments, and this EOS surpasses them all. Long lasting hydration. After using it for one day, morning noon and night, my lips are healed and silky. You do not need to spend $20 on a lip balm. Also the scent is absolutely amazing. It’s velvety and smooth it lasts a long time, and is really hydrating. Just a warning though, it does not taste like the vanilla cashmere lotion smells. It is slightly different but it doesn’t matter to me. I really like them. I bought two, put one in my purse.

This product, and the other products in this line, are all amazing!! I am a chapstick person, I always have it with me, and am constantly putting it on. This has become tied for number 1 with a lip oil that I have. But it smells good, no weird taste, goes on nicely, and actually seems to help my lips be softer!!
