The media could not be loaded. If you have never done spin art this is a great first set to get. The instructions are very easy to understand. The set up and clean up are very easy. The only issue we had was that one of the cards didn't sit properfly when my kiddo put it on and it flipped out of the spinning part and splattered paint everywhere. But again, easy to fix, and easy to clean up. It comes with all the supplies you need, so great for beginner spin artists. For those who have done spin art before, this spin art is really fun, but short lived. The paint doesn't last very long. About long enough to do all the cards that come in the pack thank goodness. But I'd love to be able to do more cards with the spin art tool. Without extra supplies that can't happen. Perhaps a refill package (of cards and paint) could be put together to buy separately. The colors of paint are lovely, but my kiddo really wanted more options as well. And the metallic silver and gold were half the size of the other primary colors which she was disappointed in as they got used up even faster.

I got this spin art machine for my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter in an effort to reduce their screen time during the day. My son was super excited for this the moment he saw the box. This kit comes with spin art machine that takes 3AA batters (not included), a splash guard that is easy to clean, paint holder, 7 paints (4 larger size in green, yellow, blue, and red, and 3 smaller sizes in black, gold, silver), 5 display tray, and 22 pieces of art paper in different shapes/sizes. The paint is non-toxic and washes off easily. I would say that it also dries pretty quickly. I really like the fact that you can you cut some card stock to size when the included ones are done…as long as they stay securely in the paper holder. You can also use your own paint when those run out (I plan to wash and save the bottles just because they fit in the included paint holder tray). The machine can be easily turned on/off with the push of a button. Once you push it ON….the tray starts spinning, the lights turn on and the music plays. My ONLY gripe about that is the face that there is no way to shut off the music or make it quieter as it is quite loud and can be ANNOYING over time. Both my kids had a blast with this and I’m excited to collect and display their art work. I had to use hand over hand assist with my kids because my son unfortunately couldn’t control the amount of drops that came out and ended up squeezing about 1/4 of the blue paint out on his first attempt.

My girls are all about crafts. All kinds of crafts. So we love adding new things to their collection of stuff and this little paint set has been a great one. All three girls love to use it to make new pieces of art and it has been pretty easy to use.

This arrived today and I promptly hid it so my grand kids don't see it when they come over tomorrow. I know they will want to play with it immediately, it looks so fun. I plan on taking it to the beach. We are bound to have a rainy day or a night when they are complaining of boredom and I will surprise them with this. Everything you need is included except the 3 AA batteries. The paint comes in red, yellow, blue and green as well as 3 smaller bottles of gold, silver and metallic black. They state it is non toxic and non washable on the bottles however it shows (and notes) that the splash proof cover is washable so I'm a bit confused. There are 22 papers, large and small to make your creation. It's $19.99 for the kit and would probably last us for 1-2 uses (not a lot of paint or paper). I feel if the manufacturer sold replacement paint and paper for a reasonable price it would be worth it. I will probably just need to do that myself. All in all, I think it will be a novel activity that they will enjoy.

This is a good craft for kids. Easy to use and clean. Only thing I don't like is how loud the music is when it is running. We put duct tape over the speaker to quiet the noise. A suggestion to make it with an optional music button to turn on or off.

I had my 5-year-old and 7.5-year-old nieces use this as a test, and they loved it. Both immediately understood how to use it and could make nice designs. It really doesn't splatter when the top cover is on, and the opening is wide enough that paint can be added along most of the paper surface. The kit included a variety of glassy paper cardstock that's pre-cut to squares, rounds, and such that are the right size to fit into the grooves on the paper holder on the spinner. You only really need to get 3 edges of the paper under the slots for it to work, which is good as repeated use leaves paint on the interior making it slippery to work with the paper. I don't think it'll be too hard to cut my own cardstock to size, but I'm not sure what to do when the paint runs out. I seems to be a special paint that is liquid enough to make a nice design when on the spinner but viscous enough to stay on the glossy paper to make a design. It dries pretty fast and dries waterproof, so you need to clean up any paint (on hands, the device, etc.) with a wet towel or soap and water before it dries. Anyway, the kids liked adding many layers to each art piece, so I'm currently left with plenty of cardstock pieces but all of the paint gone after just 10 artworks. The kids love it, and the spinner still works fine, but I'll have to figure out what to do for paint the next time they visit. Oh, the spinner needs 3 AA batteries and does lights and "ice cream truck music" (according to my nieces) when it's spinning.
