The Classic Upgrade is so nice with the gently curved back. The gently curved back fits your head so nice and makes me want to sleep in the summer breeze. This chair is also a little taller than our former Adirondack chair, which was so extremely low it was nearly a "fishing chair" or "beach chair" height like you can have the ocean wash up in your lap tyoe low. This new one is not like that. It is like a chair. It seems this one has legs in the front and back, which my former one did not have back legs. The arms rests also feel higher and more comfortable than my old chair. This new chair in Navy Blue color matches the trim of my home so perfectly I couldn't believe how great it looks on my front porch! Solid wood composite boards that are smooth, tough, and durable. A mighty fine color, durable, and good construction. It even has a cupholder hole and bottom support tray for said cup on the right arm rest. We didn't want that feature because we had no cups that fit the design, so I double-sided taped a coaster over the hole. Typical Stanley type cup doesn't fit too well inside the hole. Since we drink a lot of morning coffee out of mugs in this chair, I am pressed to find a ceramic coffee mug that will fit in the hole either. Oh! It's for cans! Like beer or soda. That just dawned on me right now. Yes, those would fit perfectly in the hole and be supported by the bottom. We don't use cans, as you can tell, so the taped coaster will work for now to make a level surface for coffee cups so we don't catch them on the edge of the hole and spill them when we are clumsy before coffee waking up. This chair is very comfortable for me, 5'4" 140 lbs, and very comfortable for my husband, 6' 230 lbs. Even without our chair pad we both agreed it was a very comfortable chair and chose to keep this one on the front porch over our old one. We already had a navy Adirondack chair pad and a teal foot stool, but these two accessories did not fit our old gray Adirondack chair very well, as it was lower and wider. The chair pad and foot stool we had line up great and fit great with this new navy blue Adirondack chair, like they were made for it. At least the colors match better now too, with the pad we had and this new chair both being dark blue. The teal footstool we have is still not navy, but it actually lined up great without cutting off our leg circulation at the thighs, like our last chair did when paired with the footstool. This leads me to believe this chair is an all around standard size in width and height. I like it! Moderately easy to assemble. There is a lot of screws and it arrived one screw short of letter 'M,' so it was a bit of a hassle to dig thru junk drawers to find a suitable replacement. The holes are only started for you. They don't go in that far, so the Alan wrench they send is not that useful. We had to get the power screwdriver out to do this job. We put the back legs on backwards at first because the directions are not that great. Eventually, we worked it all out and it looks awesome on our front porch! It is so super comfortable with that "classic upgrade" curved back that we put our slightly larger and wider flack back shorter one on the back deck instead. This chair got the used so often daily place of honor on the front porch. First line of sight for guests and greeters, neighbors and street passerbys so we are pleased with this chair being seen so much and used so often. ... show more

Bought this for the back patio because it’s supposed to stand up against the elements and last longer than traditional wood. It arrived pretty quick and instructions were simple. It came in about 12 pieces and included all of the hardware with great labeling. Instructions were fully in English and easy to follow. Overall, it took me about 30 minutes to complete from start to finish. It is very sturdy, and all of the holes were drilled in the proper place. I am 55 and it fits perfectly, providing, a headrest and easy access to get in and out of the chair. My son is 6’1”. His head set above the back of the chair so I recommend this for someone that’s probably 510 and shorter. Hoping to get some for big and tall and more colors of this one. This is a beautiful, nice looking resin chair. It's comfortable to sit in and looks great, but the screws strip very easily which makes it a bit flimsy. I'm unsure on how this will influence its long term function and life. Be careful when assembling.

I tested this chair out in the rain and it is full waterproof, as mentioned. The droplets turn into circles and it's super easy to wipe down. The assembling process was atrocious. It came with a mini screw driver that barely had any grip so use your own. Also the screws were hard to use since the holes were tiny. I got the hang of it as I was in the middle of the process but in the beginning, I felt like I couldn't get each piece to stay flushed like it was suppose to. Overall though, despite the assembling process, I really do like the chair. To sit on this plainly with no cushion is not fun. I added a long back and bottom base cushion to make this ultra comfy. 100% yes to this chair. ... show more

This non wood Adirondack chair seems to be of good quality especially considering the price. The material is smooth and well finished. The hardware appears to be top quality. I am gradually replacing all those cheap plastic versions that barely last a season and seem to crack easily. I feel these are a good value. ... show more

The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. I had a helper assist me to install the back. I did use a cordless drill instead of the junky screw driver that was included. I appreciated the thought though. Extra hardware was included just in case one goes missing. I compared this chair to one from a membership warehouse, both were priced the same. This one is not as heavy duty, but I do like the cup holder and the woodgrain pattern.
