Light, compact, comfortable and roomy. Awesome! I've spent years tent camping in the backcountry but after a move to the dense woods and rocky ground of the east coast, I started doing research on hammocks and the tree dwelling lifestyle. Why oh why did I wait so long to make the switch. Three major advantages I've seen so far: 1) While it takes a little work to dial, once set I slept far more comfortable hanging than I ever did on the ground. No pain points and creaky joints in the morning. 2) No need to worry about finding a flat spot. While not a huge issue when I was out west, in the east coast woods, it's a chore to find a smooth flat spot for a tent. Far easier to find 2 trees. 3) Weight! With the hammock, suspension straps, bug net and tarp, I'm at around 48-50 ozs, which is about half the weight of my current tent. See you in the trees! ... show more

Great hammock! All that's its described as ! Get the straps as well. Slept on the Washington coast for 5 nights in this hammock. Looks new still and was so easy to pack with its compact size lightweight material.
