After long day of (insert favorite activity here), this is the hit the spot drive people jealous perfect comfort zone tool. I now own three of these. After rock climbing I attach these straight to the rock, through means of rock climbing tools, and nap. I also stopped carrying a tent on my backpacking/mountaineering trips. It cuts down weight and adds to comfort. And just being in a city park, or in my case my work office, I throw this up to the delighted stares of strangers and friends alike, and begin to answer the same questions. "Where do I get one." Sleeping in this hammock is a miracle on the body. You will wake up with out a single pressure point noted any where. Throw a sleeping bag inside it and you feel like your in a cloud. It does take a bit of work getting in and out of, especially with a sleeping bag, but with a bit of determination you will have it down in no time. Also, setting this hammock up takes a bit of practice and experience. It's easy enough to put up, but for relaxing and reading a book I tend to let it loose and droop a bit so it makes it's own back rest. To sleep I simply tie it up as tight and stretched as I can get it and clime inside. This give it some support. You don't know sleeping tell your racked to a dream by a gentle breeze.

So, I have been converted to the hammocking world, resisting the temptation to purchase tents and foam padding, etc... So here is my review... Pros: Very light, compact, and comfortable! No need for a foam pad, because your not on the ground, you can get a nice little swaying motion going to help rock you to sleep. The pouch that is on the outside is actually attached to the hammock itself, so there is no worry of losing the bag, and another perk to having it attached is if you take something heavy, like a folding knife, cell phone, rock, etc, and put it in the pouch and put it on the other side, it actually keeps the hammock closed for you so you don't have to worry about it opening up. Besides having a sleeping bag of course. Cons: The only con I am seeing right now is down the road when I use it more I have a feeling that the stitching for the pouch will come off completely, as it already has started. Might be a defect on mine, I don't remember if I saw that on my friend's hammocks. Could be a simple fix, but I will have to improve on my sewing haha. Other than that, it is a great sleeping tool, takes away from all of the extra space and weight.

This is an amazing product and is extremely easy to set up. It can hold up to 400 pounds, even though I am 5'2 and 115. It is a single nest but was big enough for my boyfriend, who is 5'10 and 155 pounds, and I to sit on. I can put this just about anywhere and relax. I ordered this and it came next day. Free shipping and no tax!!!! My only problem is that they don't include the straps so I just went to dick's sporting goods and bought them there. They are pretty expensive so I would recommend trying to find some on amazon. I've put this on my porch to relax, sat on campus between some trees to do homework and read, and will be taking it on my hiking trip in a month. Packs up to the size of a softball and is so light you barely know you're carrying it. Even if you aren't a big hiker or camper I would suggest getting this product if you enjoy sitting outside and being amazingly comfortable!!

I bought this hammock to use on my Smokey Mountain hike. The set up took only minutes with my homemde tree straps. I hung a tarp over it for cover and was able to get into my sleeping bag while in the hammock. Very comfortable in my opinion. I had heard that the cold would come through the bottom but thought that my 30 degree slumberjack would handle 45-50 degree lows. I was wrong. I needed more insulation in between the sleeping bag and the parachute material. I am not sure how I will solve this yet. I was toasty on top and cold on whatever side was down. Bad preperation on my part. It would be fine for warmer areas although you would probably need a bug net. On a good note, I was surprised that I could sleep on my side and was not confined to being on my back the whole night. I will probably not go back to a tent.

ENO hammocks come with a storage sack built onto the hammock, and short ropes with metal carabiners to attach to a suspension system. They do NOT come with a suspension system, that is extra! So, you buy one from them, use what you already have, or make your own. I added a set of Whoopie Slings from Arrowhead Equipment, and used my Hennessy Hammock tree straps. You will need a tarp of some sort if you are outside, and there are many available. If you use it in the summer you will need a bug net, too, so there is lots to purchase before it becomes fully functional. But it is a nice system to start with.

I've had this almost four years and love it! We set it up every camping trip and there's always a line of people from our group waiting for their turn. I don't know how I only learned of the atlas straps last year, but buy them with your hammock so you can enjoy it even quicker. Just be careful getting in it - I've had some falls getting in it where it took me a few seconds to even realize what had happened! I only wish someone was recording me each of those times so I could laugh at it myself.
