I got this hammock for my son after getting a Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest Hammock to take to the second weekend of my Wood Badge training, and it finding it everything that I had hoped for. He's following in the steps of his father and taking his hammock to NYLT over the Christmas/New Year break. As with my DoubleNest, I did make some modifications to this hammock. After reading the advice of the folks at Hammock Forums, I got rid of the heavy steel carabiners and the rope line that gathers the ends. I replaced them with some "whoopie slings" made out of amsteel, and got some tree straps made out of polypropylene rather than using ENO's Slap Straps which are made of nylon and have a reputation for stretching. The modifications were easy to make and with them the hammock is simplicity itself to setup and take down. My son rates the hammock five stars (so that's what I marked it). Me? I'd only give it four... So, why didn't this thing get 5 stars in my book? Because I felt the need to get rid of the stock suspension system and really heavy carabiner for something that is lighter weight and faster to use. That modification did cost me about as much as the hammock did, but was well worth the money. Things to look for to get the best use from your hammock: trees that are 12 feet or so apart and trunks that have a diameter of at least 8 inches.

really like my hammock, my brother made some slap strap like straps using a buckle and carabiner at each end which makes set-up super easy. I take it with me every time I'm spending any time in the woods simply because it's so small and light. I didn't do very much research before buying though and there are other hammocks that seem like they might have more features/functionality included for the same price point and the fact that it didn't come with the straps that we made (that I actually think I like better than I would ENO's option) is my reason for dropping a star. If you want a hammock to set up as your sleep system in the woods you may want to look at some of the others (not that this wouldn't work)

If you're a big guy, +6ft, consider the DoubleNest. I recommend getting the Hammock Bliss Tree Straps with this hammock. Bought this hammock for a trip through the Elizabeth Islands with my buddy on his Concordia Yawl. It was middle of August and muggy the whole trip, so I hung this at night between the jib stay and the mast - good thing I had the hammock straps. The cots on the boat aren't the most comfortable. Everyone wanted a night in this hammock - I was nice enough to take turns, since I'm pretty used to sleeping on a boat in summer heat with cramped accomodations. This is breathable, lightweight, strong, small when packed, and comfortable when you sleep in it. I don't think there's anything else you want in a hammock.

This is a High quality hammock for Hammock'ing. the Hammock was delivered on time by UPS. My daughter uses it very frequently in the backyard. The hammock is very durable and stands up to the punishment a teenager puts it through. My other kids like it as well and enjoy swaying back and forth in it. The material is light and durable as I said, but doesn’t cause you to sweat in it like others on the market. I highly recommend this hammock for reading, napping, enjoying the outdoors, surfing the net, or anything else you can think of to do in a hammock.

ENO hammocks were recommended to me by several friends of mine and I love my ENO! I've used a canvas hammock for years but I love how lightweight and convenient the ENO hammocks are. Most college friends I know have ENOs so when my old hammock broke I decided to try it out. And its GREAT! I totally recommend. The separate straps are the only thing I found inconvenient, particularly the high pricing of the straps. Altogether the hammock costs almost $90-100 with just the straps and hammock, which is a bit much. But even those are worth it for the durability. The parachute material of the hammock makes it fine to get wet or stay out in the rain as it dries quickly. The ENO Singlenest Hammock is a very good buy for sure and I recommend it highly.

I recently purchased one for backpacking, and after the wife tried it out for 10 minutes she decided to get one herself. This is a quality product, well built, compact, and comfortable. My only gripe is the stitching used to attach the bag to the tie down clip came undone the first time I used it. This is mostly cosmetic, and even without the clip the bag is extremely small. Buying another one for the wife so I can enjoy mine. She recently received hers, and we both ended up sleeping outside on our last camping trip with these, love them.
