My kids (3, 6, 6, and 8) first discovered one of these rainbow pin art boards at a friend’s house and literally fought over whose turn it was for an hour. I caved and ordered our own the second we got home. Best parenting decision all month. They play with it multiple times a day: face smooshes, hand prints, drawing letters, making “hair” for their toys, even pressing random objects (Barbie shoes, LEGO guys, my car keys) just to see the 3D imprint. The pins move smoothly, the colors are bright and cheerful, and the frame is surprisingly sturdy—no bent pins even after weeks of enthusiastic toddler smashing. It lives on the coffee table now and keeps them busy for 10–20 minutes at a stretch (which in kid time is basically a small miracle). Quiet, no batteries, no mess, endlessly reusable. My kid loves it! I remember having one growing up although it was heavy and metal (ahh... the 80s). Good quality but some of the little pins can get bent causing them to get stuck sometimes.

I bought two of these (different colors) - one for each of the grandsons....they loved them. Hopefully they will hold up to daily use!! I would not recommend for a 3 yr old however. My youngest is 4 and it's a little iffy if it will hold up for him.
