This was particularly important to me because of my sensitive nose. The inflation is easy, regular twin sheets fit, and the height was just right for my needs. It does need an inflate now and then--the process is very fast and easy. I already had a twin form pad which fit the top which added to the comfort since I like a softer bed. We bought this air mattress for guests when they come to visit. It is fairly tall, so it's easy to get in and out of. The auto pump fills it up with air quickly and works in the reverse to remove the air. Comes with a nice bag too. If you need an instant bed, this is the one to get. Good quality.

I ordered this inflatable mattress tin a twin size twice and both times it arrived in the wrong size and the bed was another brand. That told me the item number Amazon assigned to this item was incorrect. I returned the mattress both times and ordered the Englander in a twin size from another vendor. I will say that once I received the correct mattress, it is the BEST inflatable I've ever had. It's the closet to the feel of a real bed that I've ever experienced. Super comfortable mattress. I notified Amazon that the item number was incorrect. Hopefully they've fixed this. The ONLY reason I didn't give this 5 stars was that I couldn't get the correct mattress from Amazon. ... show more

I've only used it one night. I followed instructions and inflated it one day. I let it sit overnight to "air out". The next day the "plastic" smell was lower and I didn't see any loss of air. Deflation was quick with the built in pump. I inflated it the following day for that night's use. Everything went fine. It was pretty firm, which I like, and I slept very well. We gave our overnight guests our room and my wife slept in the regular twin and I had the air bed placed right next to her. We were almost at the same height. Highly recommended. Easy to inflate. Easy to store after use. It has its’ own storage bag. Very supportive for sleeping. Only drawback is an inflatable bed does not have creases to tuck in the sheets and blankets. I’ll need to find mattress straps. I also put a twin sized My Pillow 2 inch mattress pad on top, then a queen sized padded mattress with deep pockets on top of that then sheets and comforter. My guest said she wished she could stay longer because she slept so well. (Don’t buy this if you want guests to leave sooner than later.) Great purchase and easy to use. ... show more
