All necessary hardware was included, the extra washers they send are intended for the original 10mm bolts for the stock splash shield so theres no need to go to a hardware store if you have them available. This review is for the Engine Splash Shield Kit for 2022 KIA K5. The splash shield kit fits perfectly on my 2022 KIA K5. Since the car sits low to the ground, it tends to hit almost everything if you’re not careful. The original factory shield wasn’t strong enough for winter conditions—mine tore apart after running over chunks of snow and was hanging down like a ragged doll. I was skeptical about buying this OEM replacement because my local KIA dealership quoted me $500 for the kit and labor. The kit arrived folded in a thin cardboard box (not full size as I expected), but that wasn’t an issue. I took it to Firestone and paid a small fee for installation. So far, everything looks good and works as expected. Took about an hour to get it on because the hardware sent didn’t have enough pieces and had triple the washers and no locking nuts like the instructions said.
