These 13qt little coolers are pretty awesome. I’ve been through a few little playmates and small igloos over the years. I’ve always hesitated to spend the money required to get a decent lunchbox. Had I realized how sturdy and well made these were. I would have had no hesitation. That said, I only pulled the trigger on it because the color I got. Had a $20 less price tag for whatever reason. I wasn’t sure I would like the color. I get a lot of favorable feedback on the color. Everyone always says “you won’t lose that”. Storage capacity is perfect for my needs. I take the large Yeti cup for coffee everyday. It totally fits with lots of extra space at the end of the day. The provided shoulder strap is great. I use that most every time so I can carry other stuff in my hands. I thought it would be heavier, not at all cumbersome. I throw one of those reusable ice blocks in and it keeps everything cold for the day. Hell, I know it would hold at least a 12 pack of beer with plenty of ice if needed. Seems to seal well. Fits in my locker at work. It really doesn’t seem to take up much room in the front seat of my truck. Came with several Engel decals and all. I happened to know a fellow with that last name and gave them to him. There are a lot of folks at work have the 13 qt or even have the 19 qt. They have had them for years. I hope this little guy gets me to retirement. Less than 10 years, for the price it should. If y’all decide to get one. I think you will be able to buy with confidence. It’s a nice solid cooler I’m a 5”10 165 pound guy I sat on the cooler since there’s no seats on my job it didn’t crack or anything it definitely feels like it would take a beating. The 13 qt cooler has a good amount of space I packed 6 (16.9) Fl oz of water bottles inside the cooler 2 cans of dr. Pepper 2 sandwiches and 3 mandarins in the cooler and I bought a 10 pound bag of ice and it holds about half before getting full. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the ice didn’t last long enough I was working indoors today at about 90-95 degrees throughout the day by 3pm all the ice had melted my drinks were still cool though but I expected ice to last a little longer. ... show more

I work at a coal mine, others like RTIC I have used and may brands of lunchboxes will only lasted about one year, the soft side ones with zippers the zipper will break in a year. I got this one Jan 14, 2022, I run a D-11 cat when you stand just outside of the door your about 9-10 feet off the ground and about 4-5 feet above the steel tracks, I stepped out to go home and dropped this box it fell a good 8 feet from shoulder height to the tracks bounced a few times hit the push arm and landed on the ground, I just knew it would be busted up, when I picked it up there was no damage I'm using it to this day. and I have no doubt that I will be using it 2 years from now everything works now as it did when it was new. coal mine equipment is unforgiving on anything that is in it or on it, it will tear up everything. There are other workers with this same box and not one of them have had any trouble out of them. Now with that sad this is a day box No it will not hold ice for days how long I do not know I use it for a lunchbox, and I'll put two thin ice packs in it, and they will steal be partly frozen when I get home about 13hours later I will also use it for day outings on the boat or at the beach and it works nice for that because its small and lightweight. the one I have is the 13 QT. ... show more
