Quite hard. I'm 50 and my feet have decided they only like soft, squishy footbeds. I've tried on Hey Dudes and thought they were quite soft so I bought these to try on other shoes. These are quite stiff. And they do have a small arch support, which is great for most people but I need a FLAT insole.
