The instructions were awful. Look a lot of time for 2 people to put together basically winging it. I would not trust the top to hold a person (I wasn't going to use it for that anyway) I added pool noodles to keep people from stubbing their toes. Overall it's good for the price. But like I said I would be very scared to have someone sleep on the top unless it was a very small child. ... show more

    • Hard to assemble
The media could not be loaded. This bed is nice but directions are sort of difficult, the bed took 6+ hours to assemble with 2 people. Everything has to be completely built. This bed is a pain in the ass to put together. But the final outcome is very nice.

Its not sturdy, upper bed shakes a lot. There is no cut out for steps and upper bed, kids has to make jump to get in, and its not easy to get down also since there is railing in between bed and steps. Overall this is not good

Was able to get this fully put together after 9 hours with two people. Instructions only tell you what pieces to connect but not with what. from there, the steps they have make it so you have to unscrew and rescrew about half the dang thing. I liked the everything about the bed. It came with clear instruction of how to assemble, it had all the parts needed to assemble correctly, and it had all the bolts and washers along with tools to get the job done.
