I've always hated regular pillows. I have never found one that was comfortable enough - or adaptable enough - for the tossing and turning I suffer through every night. At first I was skeptical. Sure, this does not look like an ordinary pillow, but how could it possibly support my head - and be of any use during my tossing and turning. In just one night, I could see how this was going to finally help me get some relief for my neck - and get me the sleep I desperately need. I know they say it can take several nights to get used to this out-of-the-ordinary pillow -- so your mileage may vary. But by night 2, I was feeling great! When I am on my back, this pillow cradles my head and puts my neck in the proper alignment with my spine. I bought my Emircey neck pillow about 6 weeks ago, and it is the solution I've been looking for, for several decades. I have a Swan like neck, which is great, except when you are sleeping, because when forced to sleep on my back, all other pillows (including the past ergonomic ones I have purchased) don't support my neck and allow my head to flatten against my neck, which causes me to have sleep apnea. I have avoided the sleep apnea in the past by sleeping on my side. However, not too long ago I injured my shoulder and made side sleeping difficult. I did a lot of research to find the best pillow to suit my various needs and came across this one. It does everything it promises to do. I can now sleep on my back and not have sleep apnea, and actually sleep all night long. The neck support and head cradle work perfectly and in addition to supporting my neck, the pillow prevents my head from drooping over to the side. I can also, if I want, change to a different side of the pillow and actually sleep on my side without bothering my shoulder. The pillow itself is extremely comfortable and isn't too firm or too soft. This is by far the best cervical pillow I have ever used. I have a reversed curve in my neck, I have been going to the chiropractor (twice a month) for years. I highly recommend chiropractic care to everyone. But I started having severe neck pain last month. The worst I have ever had. I spent days at the chiropractor getting adjusted. And while that brought relief and help, I needed something at home at night. I wasn’t sleeping the pain was so bad. My neck was so stiff in the mornings. I had tried several other night dollar cervical pillows in the past. They never helped. I wasn’t ever able to get comfortable with them. I was skeptic about this pillow but decided to try it anyhow. The first couple nights were a little hard getting adjusted to. But I could tell it was helping my neck. After a well went by, I realized I had adjusted to sleeping on this pillow. And now, it’s the only pillow I can sleep with. All others cause great pain in my neck. This pillow helps me to sleep through the night, and I also wake up with very minimal to no neck pain. I took one layer out because it was a little to tall for me and then it was perfect! Fits inside a regular pillow case, but I prefer putting it into a king size one. I have neck issues and have had spinal fusion surgery in my neck. I’ve had to break myself from stomach sleeping because that is THE WORST position for your neck. I did try laying on it while on my stomach just to rate how it feels. If laying on stomach I find most comfortable with my nose pointed towards the center dip, vs my nose pointed to the outside edge. As I have broken myself from that position I was really looking for a pillow for side & back sleeper because that is my new normal position. I’ve had this pillow for 2 weeks and I love it! I endured blunt force to my neck and base of head in 2015 from the tail gate of my truck which knocked me unconscious. I suffer from extreme tension and pain and have gone through many pillows trying to find the right one. I have had this particular pillow for a week and wake up refreshed and no neck pain.
