Really moisturizes and doesn't feel greasy or slimy. Not oily, but a nice fluid that holds in moisture. I use at bed time and let it dry before laying down.

I am a huge fan of the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, Face Cream, so I was excited to try this Embryolisse Hydra-Serum. I'm 52 and have always loved being out in the sun, so I'm always looking for ways to hydrate and nourish my skin. This product worried me at first, because the first time I used it, it left my face stingy and slightly red. I am very sensitive to linalool (which this product doesn't have) but I've been wondering about Limonene (which this product does have), because often people who are sensitive to one are also sensitive to the other. I didn't try it again for a few days, just in case, but when I did try it again, my skin handled it better. I do hope that I will be able to continue to use this without any further reactions, because it does make my skin look nice. It seems to plump it and provide good moisture. Some people have complained of the scent, but I do think it smells nice, and I don't feel like it's too strong. I do think less (or natural) fragrance would be preferable, especially for the sake of those with sensitivities.

This Embryolisse Hydra-Serum is a wonderful moisturizer for my oily skin but I don't care for the scent. This is a hyaluronic acid serum. I have been using HA for a number of years now because it works well for oily skin. HA is light and doesn't make my skin greasy but it provides moisture and plumpness that really makes my skin look and feel younger. I use it on my face, neck, upper chest and my arms and the backs of my hands and the effect is apparent. This is a semi-clear serum that has a slick feeling like aloe vera. It smooths on very easily and absorbs immediately. It's a mild acid so it enhances exfoliation, which is the shedding of dead skin so the fresher looking, new, skin is revealed. Exfoliation also enhances evening of skin tone. It comes in a bottle with a micro pump so you don't waste product. My only complaint is the scent. I just don't care for it. However, it fades very quickly and becomes barely noticeable. If the manufacturer is reading this, most of the complaints are about the scent. Maybe remove it or just tone it down? Otherwise, it's a wonderful product.

I love this brand! It’s absolutely fantastic. They make good quality products. The scent of this is real light. It’s so heavenly. It isn’t feminine or manly but almost smells like that favorite boyfriend that was the first guy you fell in love with but broke your heart. Or a dream that is great but lost to you forever only a few seconds after waking. As great as the scent is, it disappears a few seconds after applying. I wish I could bottle it up as perfume. The product works great one skin and is good for sensitive skin. It is watery and at first you think it is sticky and such but it’s not. It goes on smoothly and quickly dries without feeling like you have a coating of something bad on the face. I use a moisturizer over top of it as it is a serum and light. You could also use alone if you want. Or follow up with one of their other products.
