Wonderful variety of colors along with lots of goodies. This would make for a great gift for any level of embroider. I would give it more stars but five is all it lets me. I would recommend buying thread magic which is a cool thread Softener. I just love this because it is easy compact and plentiful!

This is my first embroidery kit I've ever bought and so far I really like it. The thread is smooth and doesnt tangle up like loose skeins, but it's also easy to separate into separate plys of thread. Theres a very wide range of colors to choose from, however I do with there were more variety in flesh tones. You get what you pay for, so dont expect to get super high quality items with it. I would recommend buying a separate set of thread scissors and maybe some times that fit your fingertips exactly.

A very pretty set that is very well presented in an excellent purpose made case. I rarely give 5 stars and this is another 4 star product. The rain for that is that the toolkit that comes with it is just a little on the cheap side. I didn't mind it being cheap, but it should work and things like the thread shops are just too flimsy. We all know that it takes just a few cents to improve simple things like the tools in a sewing kit and I would recommend that... Charge an extra dollar and supply the beautiful threads with a sewing kit just a little bit better than the one provided.

I purchased this set of embroidery thread so that my daughter and I could have a hobby together. The price was perfect for the number of colors and amount of thread in the package, much better than at any department store. There is a large color array as well as some variegated and metallic colors. The thread is silky smooth and doesn't get "hairy" when separating, like some other cheap brands I've used. The organizer that the thread comes in is sturdy plastic with separate compartments for all the groups of colors and is perfect for travel. The amount of thread has lasted quite a while although we have used it a lot. I highly recommend this set as a gift for any level embroidery enthusiast, and I will be purchasing again when we run out.

Love the colors, I use these for bracelets and they come out really nice. I love all the extras that comes with the kit too. My only complaint is I wish there was more black thread.

My 15 year old daughters face was priceless when she opened this as a Christmas Gift. All she asked for for Christmas was "STRING" and in just one word said just like that lol shes so crafty and just makes so many different kinds of friendship bracelets I thought this would just be absolutely amazing for her!!! And wow was I absolutely right! And then plus I got the books called "Friendship Bracelets one" & "Friendship Bracelets two" to go along with it as they are two different books showing so many and tons of different ways to make different kinds of friendship bracelets. This I most definately worth the money I paid for it. And would only purchase this one again. Also cuz it comes with all the tools and and organizer to keep everything which is the most important or else both of our two cats would eat all of her string as they love watching her do so many different cool project like that. They are a pretty good audience lol
