I drink my coffee slowly while reading the news and it always gets cold about half way. I ordered the Ember Coffee Cup and it’s really convenient! A little expensive but I think it’s worth it. You do have to put it back on the charging plate before the next morning for it to be ready but that’s not really inconvenient. Don’t wet the bottom of the cup or you may ruin the contacts. Read your instructions!

My husband and I love our coffee! We recently visited a hotel where these cups were in the room. We fell in love with how they kept the coffee hot. The cups are well designed and easy to hold. I ordered two while on our trip to arrive for my husband’s birthday today. He was so excited to receive them. I have an Ember that is 3 years old that still keeps my coffee hot for over an hour, it keeps its charge. Very upset to have to send this new one back, to the seller, at my expense! Really am disappointed at the lack of customer service. Tried on several occasions to speak with a person, but only got the automated response.

I'm really happy with my Ember coffee cup with lid that stays warm for hours!! Realized I am a coffee sipper vs. gulper so this was just what I needed. I know no longer need to walk back and forth to reheat in the microwave so my mornings seem more relaxing as I catch up on the news, etc. Great product for the price. It comes with extra tabs for sipping thru lid.

Had to get another one because the inside of the car was coming off with a glittery color. Was afraid to use it so I took a chance and bought another one thinking that may be the one was defective. As for the way I used it. it was very good.

I’ve tried a couple other Smart mugs that didn’t offer an app so your range of temperature control was limited to Basically low medium and high at 130 135 and 140. The one Smart mug, I had prior to this one had almost an identical charging system on the bottom, but the mug was noticeably, lesser in quality and plastic as opposed to this nice sturdy mug post had similar ability to maintain temperature heat from cold, but Ember just did it better for not much more cost. 10 ounces is slightly small and would prefer the 14 ounce mug, especially when thinking of keeping a drink at a perfect temp for a long period of time having a larger drink to make use of that function would make more sense. What I really like about it is I am a person that can’t handle extremely hot temperatures. I have a lower threshold than most peoples tolerances so things my wife finds to be a great temperature. I find scalding with a standard mug or even a double insulated mug I usually find that a drink is usually either too hot or when it reaches a temperature I can enjoy it at, it ends up getting cold too quickly so for me, Ember is perfect for maintaining a temperature that I enjoy and safely prevent overheated drinks from causing scalding. The mug will let the drink drop in temperature until it reaches your setting and will indicate overheated versus desired temp.

I have had my eye on these smart mugs for quite some time and decided to bite the bullet and finally get one. I did a thorough test of this mug and it works, and it works well! I downloaded the app, read the instructions on how to use the mug, plugged in the coaster that comes with the mug, connected my mug to my phone via the app (which was easy and quick), filled up my mug with hot coffe, and watched the temperature climb to my preferred temp of 138 degrees. It worked! I then poured room temperature water into the mug and ran the test again to see if it would actually warm the water -- and it did -- warmed it up to 135 degrees in no time! I am very pleased with this mug and how well it works! It has a nice, smooth finish. I got the black colored mug. It has an adjustable LED light if you want to change the color. When the white light is blinking, the mug is warming up. When the white light is solid, it achieved the temp you set it to. The mug is a nice weight -- not too heavy and not to light. It works as described. I recommend this product.
