EDIT: I used oil on a napkin to put between the telescope screws. And then I found I have large enough pliers to help me unscrew it. It worked. Nothing is broken. Also on the bright side: this is way lighter than a screen divider, and I love that I can push it easily. I did add some sturdy floor sliders underneath the legs. original review: I was able to put together the frame with relative ease. During the past month, everything went smoothly. I do have a minor wish, though – it would be great if the background fabric could be more conveniently fitted around the frame's edges. I attempted to increase the frame's size, but unfortunately, one of the expansion screws became misaligned and is now stuck. While the rest of the screws are easily adjustable, I'm currently limited to widening the frame, not raising its height. This situation has left me feeling quite disappointed. Similar to numerous others, I found that the frame's functionality was short-lived. I doubt this frame would hold up for more than two or three setups, especially for those who need to repeatedly assemble and disassemble it from scratch. ... show more

Upon opening this, I was very disappointed to see how thin those poles are. The plastic parts are cheap plastic and many broke with the first or second use. The screws on the bottom unscrew, which makes the poles unstable and really the whole thing unstable. We use these as a background for church and had similar item in the past that was little more sturdy. I honestly thought I was buying the same thing. The other ones lasted 1-2 years. These ones have broken parts and are in the same bad condition after only couple weeks of use. I could seriously just throw them away now. What is frustrating, I'm not sure I could return them. And even if I could, shipping it back from Alaska will cost more than the product itself. So here we are stuck with something that doesn't work, has broken parts and is ready to be thrown. No money to buy something better and no way to return these. 😔😔😔 ... show more

This is a good stand, I had no issues with it being flimsy and it held up my backdrop and garland, although I did use it inside so I’m not sure about outside with the wind. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because taking it apart can be rough and take a while due to the adjustable knobs use to extend the poles. Make sure to tighten them enough to where your pole doesn’t move but not so much that you can’t undo it because if not you will go through a lot of trouble when trying to put it away. Setup is easy and the stand is sturdy enough for my needs. It also works well in the limited space I have in my studio. It sits closer to the wall than a stand with tripod legs. It’s also easy to move to another room without taking it apart when I need a larger space to shoot.
