Let me start by saying that I enjoy the pillow, so much so that I purchased one for my daughter after she liked sleeping on mine. I decided to order a third pillow for my mom for Mother’s Day and this time I was left disappointed. The first two orders we had no issues, the items arrived in the original box & were sealed, they smell like foam when you first open them but after a while that smell goes away and it’s a great pillow. But this time the box’s seal was broken and had been taped over with packing tape. The box clearly says if the yellow seal is broken this item is unsellable. I did not order or pay for a used pillow but that is what arrived. It even appears that someone had peeled off a previous shipping label. I went ahead and opened the pillow to double check to see if maybe the seal was just accidentally broken but no, this pillow is used. It was in a big bag inside the box, when I pulled it out you could see the original bag down in the bottom of the box, the bag a new pillow comes in. This one smells like a man’s cologne. I am returning this pillow & getting a refund. I have since ordered a new pillow in hopes the new one will arrive in time for Mother’s Day.     • More than 5 back surgeries, 5 different pillows, and now the final pillow!!

You read right! More than 5 back surgeries; 8 screws, 6 rods, and 3 mesh cages. Screws and rods are made of titanium alloy. I still have a herniated disk that is still giving me problems. Now I know some of you might say, "from what level to what level are the fusions?" I don't want to reveal too much of my life and surgeries because in my city as of now I'm the only one that has had this many surgeries & I love my privacy. I'm saying this much because it's vital to the review of this pillow. I'm a side sleeper, I have to be because of the back pain. For a long time that I can remember I've been dealing with shoulder pain when I wake up every morning because I have to sleep on my side cause if I don't the amount of back pain intensifies so much that I am crying for the rest of the day or contemplating on going to the ER. The first night that I used the pillow I got to sleep a little more than I usually do, 6 hours versus the 3 to 4 hours that I normally get. I did wake up a little sore in my shoulder, but a lot less back pain, but I figured that it was the first night my body has to get used to it. I mean come on, I've had to deal with neck, shoulder, and especially back pain for more than half my life. After the third night, I was screaming at my pillow, "Where were you 10 years ago?!" Why didn't you come into my life sooner before I spent hundreds of dollars (not joking, I did) on pillows that were supposed to help me get a good night's sleep but never did?!" LOL!!! Of course, I'm yelling all this in my head, LOL!!! My neck and shoulder pain is 95% gone! My back pain is still a problem, as I stated earlier this back pain will never go away completely, but it was still intense. This was only 3 nights of use, I look forward to a week's worth of sleep, heck make that a month! I know that this pillow will not let me down, after I finish with this review I'm buying 2 more as gifts for my parents. Even my parents noticed that I have slept more and woken up more energetically than I ever had before. I suffer from a pain that will stay with me for the rest of my life. DO NOT & I MEAN DO NOT get my words twisted, I know that others have worse injuries than mine and this pillow may not help them. All I can say is with my injuries and the pain that I suffer from, this pillow has helped me alleviate a lot of that pain. Whether your pain is from the back, neck, or shoulders this pillow may help you, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T PASS ON GETTING THIS PILLOW!!!! ... show more

Really wanted to love this pillow. Let me just start by saying this was a good pillow just after 2 1/2 weeks it just wasn't working for me any longer. At first I was sleeping like a baby and this past weekend did it for me. Here came the neck pain again. I ended up going back to my cheap Walmart brand pillow for some comfort. I am 90% side sleeper the other 10% back and occasionally stomach sleeper. I really wanted to love this pillow. I love the shape of this one too. Not sure if I staring to have issues with this one because I'm used to a pillow being little bit more firmer or not. On to trying another pillow. 4 stars because it was a good pillow and probablywould be great for the next person. ... show more
