I have nothing but good things to say about these curtains. I purchased them in conjunction with some black, blackout shades and this was the proper call. 100% darkness in my bedroom with the two combined. The curtains are very thick, and machine washable. Huge thing for me because I have several feline pets. I have washed them a few times and the color is still as vibrant as the day i purchased them. I highly recommend. They also do keep a lot of heat out but assist with temperature control inside during the cold months. ... show more

My CONS: Descriptions says valances are ready to hang. Truthfully, they are not. I could not iron the wrinkles out so I had to wash, dry and iron them before I could hang them. That is the worst of it. My PROS: These are very nice valances. I have put the brand in 3 different rooms in my home. They are made well, however, not so heavy they are hard to deal with. I have large windows in my home and did not want to cut down on the natural light in the rooms. The valances are perfect! I have just hung a total of 20 valances - 12 in my living room and 8 in my dining room. They look wonderful. Will add pics a little later on. They did wash and dry very nicely. Hopefully the next time I need to wash them I will only need a light ironing. I would most definitely recommend these and I would by them again and again. ... show more

So far I've had to return one of the panels twice (I purchased four) because the shades of the taupe aren't even close to one another. Today when the replacement panel arrived, it was also the wrong shade and not even close to the other three. I ordered ten valances to match, and with the exception of one having a stain on it, all ten of them matched perfectly! When the replacement valance arrived, it was perfect. Why can't someone do the same with the panels? When I attempted to return this panel the second time, they won't send a replacement and I have to purchase another one again. I'm frustrated and I would not recommend these products or company to anyone. This is my first negative review that I've ever written about a product. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and find curtains elsewhere. ... show more

These curtains are great for the price. Material hangs nice once pressed and color is true to pictures. They are not made the best as the pleats vary a little in size but the material is nice and has an expensive look. I would buy these again.

I bought these, slightly worried about some of the reviews saying they don't block light, for my large bank of living room windows. I needed something room darkening to help keep it cooler in the summer, and keep out early daylight (I work nights and usually don't head to bed until sometime between 4am & 6am. Not a problem in the winter, but definitely one in the summer. These do a perfect job of keeping the room nice and dark. Only light that comes through is from the edges of the curtains around the top rod and the edges of the widows. I purchased the dark navy color, if that helps at all. I'm now considering the shorter length in the same color for my spare room, these are that good! ... show more
