From out of the box to installed, it took me about 45 minutes to complete. It was easy and the instructions were easy to follow. You do need an electrical outlet close in order for this to work. This was the biggest challenge for me, as the cord is very short and my closest outlet isn’t very close to the toilet. After connectivity was worked out, it was a breeze. The remote is handy and easy to use. The seat warmer is ahhhhmazing too. Something I didn’t know I needed until I tried one. Who needs toilet paper when you can have one of these? ... show more

Became a big fan of bidets a few years ago. I went my whole life believing they were the enemy, and then, amidst a toilet paper shortage, I said, “Why not?” My eyes were opened! Now I practically plan my life around access to a bidet. Now they have these fancy ones that clean multiple areas, and even blow dry. The deodorize feature on this bidet is something I hadn’t seen, but it actually worked! Installation was very easy, and I didn’t have to buy any hoses - the 3/8” hose I already had connected was all I needed. The wrench that came in the hardware bag was handy, but I did need an additional wrench and a screwdriver. And the remote is a great idea! Most bidets have a control panel right next to the bowl, which we all know is susceptible to splatter. The only thing that concerns me a little is the toilet seat. Seems a tad flimsy, but it should be Ok - I’ll update the review if not. I haven’t moved the outlet yet - waiting a few weeks to make sure this bidet is all it’s cracked up to be before undertaking that small project. ... show more

I have two bidet toilet seats. The other one is far more expensive but also has the automatic lid open and seat raise. This one is a better deal if you can do without the motorized lid. Here are a couple of gotchas: 1. The diagram is incorrect. You attach the bidet water feed to the top of the T-Connector and connect your toilet tank fill to the side branch of the T-Connector. See my photo. 2. There’s no really good way to figure out how far back the mounting bracket should go prior to installing the bidet. I just installed it to about 3/4 tightness then installed the bidet on top. I pushed the bidet seat to where I wanted it and then hit the release button (on the right side as you’re facing the toilet, opposite the water fill side, and directly underneath where the power cord attaches) so I could pull the seat back off the bracket. Then I marked my brackets’ location and screwed it in tight. 3. It comes with a second TV valve that doesn’t fit any toilet I’ve ever seen in the United States. It may be for a foreign standard. 4. The water connections are simple push slip valves. They’re inexpensive and likely to break at some point. 5. It comes with two rubber gaskets that don’t appear anywhere in the installation instructions. I believe they are supposed to go between the toilet porcelain and the metal brackets to provide additional security when you install the toilet seat screws. Getting our first bidet several years ago was the best splurge we ever made. I now have a bidet installed in every bathroom in my home, and many of my friends and family members have installed them as well. The heating elements in my guest bathroom quit working, and I found this replacement. It is awesome! This bidet took just a few minutes to install, and comes with a remote control that is easy for guests to understand. This bidet is packed with extra features. It has several heating levels for the seat, water, and air dry. One addition that I’ve never seen on any other bidet is a self-cleaning nozzle. I ordered this after seeing an episode of South Park that talked about the benefits of bidets. The product showed up intact with packaging that protected everything. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The bidet comes with a power cord instead of a battery, which would be great!....if the cord were long enough. None of the toilets in my home have an electric outlet right next the toilet, and alas, the cord was too short to reach any of the outlets bathroom. I did plug in the product to see if all the other features worked, and they did. I feel like ours cannot be the only home that doesn't have a socket within 18 inches of the toilets. Actually, we do have one bathroom where the power cord reaches an outlet: our kids' bathroom. They are 4 and 6 and not quite ready for a bidet. I would have loved to have used this thing. If the manufacturer can make a longer power cord, this will be a real winner. ... show more
