Nice glass containers with the safety of a silicone "basket" that stays on well-- haven't removed them. We run the bottoms through the dishwasher, no problem. However, I hand wash the tops, to avoid dishwasher heat that could warp them over time. Had these for over a year and the tops still snap on nice & snug. I've even placed them upside down (turning over food being marinated), and never had a leak. Wonderful to have the non-reactive glass and silicone-- no concerns about chemical leaching. I really like these glass containers with the silicone sleeve to protect them. The silicone is super thick and helps prevent bumps and breaks. The lid is easy to lock all the tabs and easy to unlock also (no super loud clicks and not too much pressure needed to lock and unlock). Great colors and sizes. I use these for my son's daycare meals, so they go in a backpack everyday and get taken out by provider and he eats from it. No breakage or anything. Love how they are made out of glass since I am anti plastic container when it comes to what touches the food. The lid is plastic but I don't mind as much. We have microwaved the containers with no issue. Can't comment on oven use as we never have used them in the oven and do not ever plan to. Would definitely transfer contents if I need the oven to warm something. ... show more

I have put every kind of food in these containers and I have no stains or smells! I’ve put them in the microwave, dishwasher (top shelf), and oven and they’re still like new. I have used various sizes of these containers over the past few years within my fridge and freezer. I have not had one break, chip or crack. The silicone has stayed the same and the lids are in perfect condition and still seal like a suction cup. I use these for all of my food prep needs and they have traveled with me to various states. We wanted better organization in our food storage bin cabinet. We had plastic locking lid sets, but I've time we ended up with several different sets. Even with a lid organizer, it had gotten hard to I own that cabinet without having a few things attack you. We decided to try something a bit heavier. I looked for storage with glass bottoms and locking lids, and stumbled across these. They're exactly what we were looking for. These glass containers, locking lids, and silicone insulators were exactly what we were looking for! I bought several sets via Amazon and Walmart. They came, and I was so pleased when I pulled them out of the box! They are very nice weight, feel sturdy, and are made of a shatter resistant glass, oven safe up to a certain temperature, stylish, and easy to store. The lids rest neatly together. The bottoms stack nicely within each other, even though they don't fit as closely inside each other as plastic would. They're perfect for my cabinet and we're very pleased with the set. ... show more

I got this set for an elderly friend I care for. She has memory issues so I wanted something she couldn’t melt in the microwave, wouldn’t burn her if she grabbed it while hot, sturdy and non-toxic, but also not as likely to break if dropped and good grip so less likely to be dropped in the first place, oh, and could go in the freezer too. And lastly a see through lid so she could know what was inside easy. That’s a long list but these fit the bill, oh and they’re easy to clean too surprisingly! I liked them so much that this was actually the second set. The first set were the rectangular ones. And I love the colors as well.
