Nice glass containers with the safety of a silicone "basket" that stays on well-- haven't removed them. We run the bottoms through the dishwasher, no problem. However, I hand wash the tops, to avoid dishwasher heat that could warp them over time. Had these for over a year and the tops still snap on nice & snug. I've even placed them upside down (turning over food being marinated), and never had a leak. Wonderful to have the non-reactive glass and silicone-- no concerns about chemical leaching. Wish they were priced better. Would love the option to buy singles or pairs of our favorite sizes. ... show more

These are by far the best tupperware I've owned. Super durable and high quality, and the rubber surrounding them makes them easy to handle. The lids form a super tight seal, keeps fruit and veggies fresh in the fridge for like two weeks. I will never buy any other containers again because I love them so much. The Ello Duraglass was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, however, I could fit an entire meal in the large blue covered container. To gage the size, you have to squeeze a flauta to make it fit, so not quite where I wanted it to be in length. Having said that, the glass is heavy and durable and seals incredibly well as I walked 20 minutes with the containers in my backpack on my way to work. Good value for the money and functional. Keep in mind if you are 'walking' - this set is heavy in the backpack. You will feel it. If you are driving about then it doesn't matter.
