This glass food storage container is very cute. I like the rubber outside (that is removable to clean) because it prevents breakage and slippage. It's easy to clean too. The only problem with it is that sometimes it creates a suction and it is really hard to get the plastic lid off. Sometimes I try to take the lid off, and I am worried that I will break off one of the plastic clips. Other than that, it's a solid storage container. The base is glass and the lid is plastic.

I love this bowl. I mostly purchased this bowl to be used for salad to take with for my lunch. Even though I have salad in it most of the time it does tend to seal and keep my salad crisp and fresh. I love that it doesn't come lose in my lunch bag and the few times I've had liquid in this bowl it didn't leak even when turned upside down and on it's side. I saw some reviews about the bowl breaking but I hasn't broken on me. I strongly suggest you follow the instructions and do not take the silicone wrap off the bottom of the bowl. It is placed there for a reason not just for looks.

I have a lot of ELLO food containers from this line and I love them all. This is the perfect size for salad and gives you just enough room to have a good size lunch salad, and able to shake it up to mix everything together. Yesterday I brought soup in it, and it was spill proof, even though my bag tipped over.

This is my 2nd time buying this and both times it cracked when warming up items in the oven on 300 degrees! It's a great bowl and perfect for a large salad for lunch but DO NOT PUT IN THE OVEN.

The size is exactly what I expect. I use it as lunch box for a huge salad. It works great. Sometimes it’s hard to open it, it seems the air sucks the cap and hard to release. The round design makes it hard to put in standard lunchbox. But overall, I m happy with the size, how easy to clean, and the safety feature protecting the glass.

Loved that it was glass. Didn’t even mind that the top was plastic. Terribly minded that it took me over a week to pry the lid off of it. Thankfully it locked AFTER I had eaten my salad at work or I would’ve been one hangry customer! I tried everything to open it. Tried freezing it. Tried running warm water over it. Convinced my husband to try to muscle it open —nothing worked! I came back and read the reviews on Amazon and was even more disgusted with how they calculate their “rating” system. Kicked myself for not reading all of the “it would never open again” reviews! Finally in one last effort before I tossed it, I tried to pry a steak knife between the lid and bowl and miraculously it released! But now I am scared that the knife trick was just luck and don’t know if I ever trust putting the lid on again. Not like I want to carry a steak knife with me wherever I go —and it really seems like an accident waiting to happen!!

These are the best storage bowls. When heating food in the microwave you never have to worry about burning your hands upon removal. The sleeve protects you as well as keeping the foos hot. The lids are easy to apply and remove with a good seal.
