The quality of this sink is much better than our old sink purchased at Lowe’s. The metal is thicker and has more sound deadening material. I also like the extra depth. Very happy with this purchase. It is a nice addition to our newly remodeled kitchen.

Heavy gauge, good sound proofing and seems to have straight mounting flanges. Too bad it is made in china. Elkay was once a premier USA manufacturer of stainless steel sinks. Oh well, at least their corporate executives are still receiving their bonus.

This sink is awesome. We installed it to our quartz countertop. I really like the steel grating that goes on the bottom of the sink. It protects the bottom of the sink and at the same time allowing the water to drain better it seems. The debris does not accumulate on dishes that are at the bottom. We did not use the drain that came with it but connected it directly to a trash disposal. It is the perfect size for our use and is much better than a double sink. The depth is also perfect not too deep and not too shallow. We were looking for an 8 inch sink and this one was the right choice. Update. 6/3/2020. Still love the sink but a few of the rubber bumpers in the grate have been lost. They keep the grate from hitting the sink walls. Update 6/29/2020 Contacted Elkay and they sent me replacement bumpers. I notice that when I tilt the grate forward to clean under it, the ends of the grates themselves can touch the sink corners where the wall meets the sink bottom even with the bumpers on. There are scratches on the sink from this but they are not very visible. Really does not bother me but thought to would mention it. I still like the sink and grate. It is a little bit of a hassle to clean under the grate but not a big deal. I like having the grate. I bought a strainer that does not fit through the sink drain hole in the grate so I have to tilt the grate to renove the strainer to clean it. This is when along with cleaning the bottom the scratching can occur. Another improvement would be if the angle of the bottom of the sink was steeper so debris drained better towards the drain. We bought this sink to upgrade from a two side sink to one big sink in our camper and in our house. This is by far the best sink that I have used, I love how it gives more room to wash dishes and I can use one side to leave the dishes to dry after they are washed up.

Not enough pitch to get a good flow to the drain. You’ll waste a lot of extra water to get small solids to go to the drain.

I haven’t been able to get this sink installed yet. Beautiful looking sink. My biggest gripe, in the description it states —country of origin is USA. It was one of the main reasons I purchased it. It plainly states on the box MADE IN CHINA.
