Really thick and full style moisturizer. A bit heavy for my combination skin, but if you have dry skin or mature skin, this is perfect. Smells nice, feels refreshing and really does lock in the moisture.

I live in Wyoming, which has very very dry climate and air. We run the humidifier in our house almost 10 months a year. As a result, hair and skin take a brutal hit, and you need to pay extra attention to moisturizing. I constantly have to change my product as my skin seems to adjust to a product and then it no longer hydrates the same way. I wanted to try this due to the great feedback of it being ultra moisturizing - however I found that the scent was too strong for my liking. I usually like stuff unscented and wish she had a version that had no scent. This overnight cream did appear to make my slightly aging skin more supple and my skin held the moisture throughout the day, even when I was out in the elements and it was a windy day with 45mph gusts and full sun beating down on my face. When I first started using this night cream, it seemed I really had to lather it on, and over the couple weeks I have been using, I noticed I need less and less. I did dock this for the strong scent, and also for the price, as it is a little more than I typically pay, but it does work…. I have white, pale, sensitive skin that is slightly acne prone with hyperpigmentation and melasma. I am in my late 30’s and use skin care products every day & night.

Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Lift and Firm Night Cream This cream is heavenly for super dry skin. It does overdo the fragrance a bit but the scent fades quickly. It is a typical floral one. This is full of peptides, lipids, and ceramides and is pretty heavy so I don't think this would work for oily skin - it would probably cause breakouts, but it is perfect for my skin. You really only need a small amount to get excellent results. It makes my skin feel really wonderful and moisturized. This contains Leontopodium Alpinum Callus Culture Extract which is a plant stem cell extract that I have seen in REALLY super expensive creams and helps to plump up wrinkles and to lift up sagging skin. It will take a few weeks to see real results but my skin feels better with only a week's worth of use. Please don't let fear-mongers point out one ingredient that a certain site says is dangerous -Phenoxyethanol- It’s pretty much the current IT preservative. It’s safe and gentle, but even more importantly, it’s not a feared-by-everyone-mostly-without-scientific-reason paraben. You really don't want skincare that doesn't use some sort of preservative since that would cause major issues and damage to your skin from bacteria. Bacteria is bad. Phenoxyethanol is good and very safe. Style: Night Cream
This lovely cream from Elizabeth Arden promises to improve the appearance of skin in just 7 days. The rich cream contains ingredients proven to help hydrate skin such as ceramides and peptides. Red algae seems to be a recent trend in skincare with clinical evidence to back it up. I was very impressed with how rich and emollient this cream was immediately after application. it's absorbed well but also leaves a protective film on the skin to work magic overnight. The scent is pleasant and it disappears quickly. My skin feels very soft each morning. I think my skin looks decent for 59. Fine lines, slight rings under my eyes, generally good skin texture. I do notice the beginnings of sagging and there's always room for improvement. Did I notice a difference after 7 days of consistent usage of this night cream? I felt that my skin was softer, but it didn't really look different. However, two weeks later I could see that my skin felt and looked more refreshed. My skin feels wonderful. I don't expect miracles, but I do expect a pleasant experience with reasonable results. This night cream from Elizabeth Arden provides that and a little more. It's definitely more luxurious and effective than any drug store product I've tried.
