  • Good remake, lame ass story
Platform For Display: Playstation 5
Good game, but the plot is a little lame. I like the additions of Angeal and Genisis but in general I hate how they had to mischaracterize some of the characters to make them interact or fit in properly with the story. Crisis Core as a whole has a lot of issues, storywise. The fact that the person who directed the original game didn't play og FFVII at the time. The characters and story are so construed, and the fact that this game back in 2007 was a lot of people's introduction to ffvii as a whole is why we have such an issue with who's right and wrong in this fandom. I hate the fact they had to kill and tone down Aerith's character, I hate that, somehow, Zack is connected to every single thing that Cloud interacts with og, to the point it undermines Cloud’s character and entire journey as a whole, when Cloud was the one who made ffvii what it is, or even the fact that Dr. Hollander is literally just a redditor lame ass discord mod who somehow got to be an elite scientist in Shinra.💀 Besides the issues in writing and characters, the remake, I feel, just didn't hit the mark. The og crisis core is just so 2000s, that it made the game what it was. You could feel how epic the game could be. The voice acting was also a big part of what made og feel cool. Okay, in short, remake is solid. Updated graphics are amazing and most of the voice acting was done well. Mostly. Otherwise, I just don't like most of Crisis Core. I've 100% this game and I've come out of this experience with only believing some of this story is canon and most of it is not. Also Zack and Cloud were more in love than Zack and Aerith. Soz. Cry about it. ... show more

  • Wonderful addition to the final fantasy games.
Platform For Display: Playstation 5
I really enjoyed this game, it's music and story telling. It's an action RPG with small bite-sized missions that you can play through in small chunks. Great for when you're time limited and can only focus on the game a little at a time. It appears to be a faithful remake of the original PSP game "Crisis Core." Highly recommended if you're a fan of Final Fantasy 7, as it depicts events that happened before the main Final Fantasy 7 game. ... show more

The combat feels more smooth compare to the original, the graphics is someting like feels wrong compare this to the PSP version, but even so the PSP version for the limitations of the hardware till today(in my opinion) looks very good. in my opinion this is a fantastic game for every fan on Final Fantasy 7 and even all the Final Fantasy Franchise. super recomended ... show more

  • I love all the FF games (specially the ones related to FFVII)
Platform For Display: Playstation 5
THB this is not an impartial review as I love everything related to FFVII, so I would even buy a Materia Maker Simulator if it existed, but this game adds a lot of lore to the story and it was great to finish it up again after so many years. So, what are you waiting for to buy it?

Fun! Lots of lore to gnaw on but the game play is repetitive after so many hours.
