So far the battery life is good. Hoses are tricky coming off. I like the recording and reports. I don’t like the incompatibility with other vacuum pumps. It just stops and doesn’t switch into microns.

I wish the display was a little brighter it can be hard to read in the sunlight, but that is just minor over all I really like them have had my set for over 3 years now....my temp probes broke can i order just new temp clamps for my gauges. For me they are a great value less than 600 and I have had no issues other than a broken temp clamp

Does not hold a vacuum when in test mode.

Purchased item based on good reviews, either the gauge assembly is defective or the vacuum transducer, have tried getting in contact with customer support to return either for a new unit or a repair, good luck with that, answering machine is what you will get. At this point not sure sending it in will be productive but what do I have to lose $500.00 dollars and an enormous amount of time trying different hoses purchasing hoses. Should have stuck with my gut and purchased fieldpiece. Disappointed

It's got lots of convenient features that I really wanted to enjoy, but...
Color: 4-Way - Smart Touchscreen/APP
First of all, this unit is a huge improvement in ease of use from the analog gages and separate tools that I have previously been using, so I was really stoked about using it to make my jobs and life much easier. It's got some unexpected quirks, but they could be worked around, and overall it's still more convenient than the old fashioned ways. The pressure decay test only works on the red/high side, so I had to swap hoses to leak test on the low side, but I managed. That's just a quirk. The other major issue is a problem - - the vacuum sensor doesn't hold a vacuum, which makes the vacuum decay testing non-functional! I had to put my old digital vacrometers inline with the hoses to do a decay test, and thereby lost the logging and alarm functions that are supposed to be features of this unit. It is hard to read in sunlight (pale blue lettering on a black background is just as hard to see as pale blue lettering on a white background...). I've got a call in to their customer service, and I'm awaiting a response from them, so I'll see if the company stands behind their product, or if I have to get an Amazon return... (this unit is here only 3 days since delivery, and I discovered the problem on the first job). I'll update this review based on the response of the manufacturer (or lack thereof), and adjust the stars accordingly. Update: On their outgoing message, the "support" number asks you to leave your name and email address, and they will contact you by email. That translates into "NO TELEPHONE SUPPORT"... Their website claims support hours up to something like 4 pm Pacific time, but I'm still waiting for an email response from mid-day Friday. Reading thru all the reviews I am seeing many people have experienced the same problems with the vacuum sensor that I did, with few mentioning successfully resolving the problem, and I am getting the impression that I should hurry up and return this unit before the Amazon return window closes. If I do return it, I'm still willing to buy another one and roll the dice, hoping to get a good working one, but I know now that I should test it on arrival, just to make sure it's worth keeping. Downgrading to 3 stars. 2nd Update: I've experienced the email "support" and I'm not impressed... They started off trying to explain to me how to isolate the sensor, to confirm where the leak is. When I replied that the problem had already been isolated to the sensor, they asked me for a video to show the extent of the problem... Via email, this interchange is already taking more time than it took to isolate the problem in the field and they're suggesting that the digital gage set might be the problem, not the sensor?!? (Even though the gage set was out of the circuit before we'd isolated the leak to the sensor, and was only being used to read the sensor at that point). I'm guessing they don't do phone support because they don't speak English, and while their corporate address is in California, they are actually a Chinese-based company - several characters in the email are not English, but some Asian language, but I can't reliably tell the difference between Japanese Kanji and Chinese; pretty sure it's not Korean... They're loosing stars with every exchange of emails - down to 2 stars now.

I did not like the black back ground srceen, very hard to see outside in the sun light, but a year later, I contacted Elitech about it and they sent me the updated new set of gauges with day/night time mode and free return shipping lable for my original set. Very satisfied
