120 inch front version. Already have a "permanent" high-end wall mount - but needed something portable (primarily for indoor use in various locations where I don't want to have a permanent installation). Was a bit concerned about the folded screen comments and the expectation of creases. Once this arrived it was easy enough to set up - and I found that while there are creases in the screen, they are very light and uniform (as the screen was folded extremely well) and are only vaguely noticeable when whitespace is projected... and after a few days even less so. As someone who is picky when it comes to creases in a screen, I'm happy to say it's a non-issue for me w/this product. The one piece frame concept is really cool, though did notice there is a VERY MINOR curvature or "sag" of the top bar once assembled - but again not enough to be an issue for me (and yes this type of stuff typically bothers me), so that's how minor it is - and doesn't impact the screen tension in any way from what I can see. Screen itself snaps on fairly easily, was able to set it up myself though a second person would have been nice. The screen material is not quite as good as my permanent wall mount (which was over $1k) - but I would say it's very decent for the price and better than many of the screens I've had in the past. For indoor use, can be placed against a wall and only fold the front legs out if that's how you want to elevate it - though in my case I created hidden wall mounts in the locations I plan to use it, so I can just carry it over and use the mounts, no need for the legs. Did try it with the legs attached though, and it fit nicely in the basement @ 88 inch ceiling height. Nice packaging, and overall the product has a quality feel to it - moreso than I expected. I would give it 8/10 if it cost $300+, but at this price point I really think it's a 9+. Can't really go wrong with this. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Summary: Lightweight but very sturdy, folds up quickly and compactly, secures safely to the ground. Noticeable creases in the screen but not distracting. I'm in love! I bought a projector to show movies in my backyard and then fretted over what to do about a screen. I just assumed anything worthwhile would be too expensive and seriously considered putting something together with PVC pipe and a white tarp. What a mistake that would have been! The whole unit comes packed nicely in a carrying case for portability (think the size of a Pack n Play baby crib). Both legs unfold and slide into the main frame, which is cleverly folded in 4 places as to fit inside the carrying case. The screen itself snaps all along the frame, about every foot, which keeps the screen tightly stretched and adds to the sturdiness of the frame itself. The whole thing takes about 10 minutes to setup and 10-15 minutes to fold up and put away properly- though I leave the frame/screen intact between viewings and just remove the legs (which takes about 30 seconds and is much easier with two people). Once the frame is put together, it's very lightweight and easy for one adult to move it around in open spaces. Closed-in spaces are a little tricker because the screen is so big. I have an unused space near the door to my backyard where I can keep the screen between viewings (with the legs detached), which is really useful. But if you have to go up/down stairs to store it or around many corners, you'll probably have to have two people just to negotiate the angles. I had thought when I first bought the screen that I would need to set sandbags or something on the legs to keep it in place, but of course there's an out-of-the-box solution for that. Stakes are provided to pound into little holes in the legs and keep the screen secured to the ground. These work great but make sure you have a hammer to do the pounding. There are additional measures involving twine but I never bothered with it and never had a problem. I'm also happy with the quality of the screen itself. Yes the screen arrives folded up and to fit into the carrying case it must be folded, not rolled. Once the screen is stretched across the frame, you'll still see creases. Honestly even after having the screen attached to the frame for a few weeks I still saw the creases. However, they never distracted from whatever movie I was watching so this didn't bother me at all. This screen is built for a very tight niche- backyard movie nights- and it's perfect for that purpose. It wouldn't really be appropriate for an indoor home theater arrangement but it's very mobile and lightweight with great quality, making it just right for your backyard oasis. ... show more

This was a pretty easy to assemble screen. I use it pretty much all year-round, but I do bring it in once it gets too cold out. It’s pretty easy to clean and you can get away with just hosing it off, but you should probably use a wipe to properly clean it. It doesn’t take up too much space when it’s compacted away, and is relatively easy to move around. It is made of a thick and sturdy vinyl field and don’t really notice a smell, because I’m using it outside overall, I’d say this is a great buy if you plan on using it for outdoor projection. It has very little game though, so it may not help your picture in bright daylight, your projector has to do. ... show more

First of the two screens I opened was flawless. The screen fabric stretched to fit perfectly. Was fairly quick for one person to set up. There are a few wrinkles in the fabric which I'm sure will be stretched out over time, kind of expected with a portable pop up screen. The second screen however, has a few flaws. Missing plastic ends of the frame, and one leg, the left side looking from the back the threads and hole doesn't line up making it impossible to screw together. If Elite Screens could send a couple of the plastic covers, I think I can manage to drill the hole ever so slightly bigger to make it work. The other reviews mentioned moisture and mildew growth, I'd definitely suggest keeping the silica gel in the travel bag. I have a blow up screen and have had it over a year with similar screen material and haven't had any issues with that screen. Just be sure to wipe it down before packing it up if you use it outside. ... show more
